Living in . . . Australia: Ready-to-Read Level 2 Paperback – March 7, 2017

I LOVE this series. They are written from the perspective of a child in that country, with a variety of family types represented. They all include an overview of what their day is like, what school is like, as well as cultural, historic, and geographic info, with some pronunciation help where needed. I like to read the same one every day for a week, and my son notices and latches onto a new detail every time. We often end up Googling some question that the text brings up.

I purchased this book and the Korea version as a gift for a 7 year old. She told me that loves both books and will actually read them. The pictures are nice and vibrant, too.

My son loves all things Australia. So when I saw this book I had to get it. It was informative and easy to read for him all by himself. I recommend.

Little Ruby takes readers on a tour of Australia by letting them follow her around for one typical day. While at school the history and culture of Australia come up, and various other aspects such as local foods and past-times are incorporated as well.A great intro to the people and culture of modern Australia as well as a crash course in Australian history. Great resource for curious kids or lower grades studying Australia.

Got this for my daughter who reads at a 3rd grade level. She loves the book. Her mommy is from Australia so this is a good way to introduce some facts about her country. The story is really cute and gives kids the differences of usa and aus

Great book. I have others in my classroom exactly like this but learning about different countries. This is great! Wish they made more.

I used this for an around the world class and it was great to give information on the country! We had fun and it was vibrant!

Get this book. Nicely informing about Australia for kids. Well written. I recommend this book for kids and teaching. Good.
