Incredible upgrade to my tower pc that came originally with only a 2.4GHZ band + Bluetooth 4.0 wireless card.Installation was simple, disconnect all cabling and power cord, press and hold power button for at least 5 seconds, in order to discharge any stored energy from the power supply. Remove computer access panel/cover, visually locate the mini card, touch your hand to any exposed metal portion of the chassis to hopefully dissipate any static charge you have. Get a small Phillips head screwdriver and short needle nose pliers, which will be used to remove antennae’s 1 & 2, make note of which wire goes to what antenna, shouldn’t matter. Unscrew card, remove card, replace with new WiFi card, screw down card, replace antennas using pliers helps, not too much pressure, put your panel/ cover back on, make your cabling connections, plug in power cord, start up pc. Now I installed this in a HP ENVY 700-414 desktop, running Windows 10. The system had no issues loading driver for card, identified it as the Broadcom model on card, and finally all functionality present and available. I have dual band connectivity and Bluetooth capability. Performed testing to validate dual band connection, speed, and any packet loss (great connection on both bands and excellent strength, no pkt loss, and Bluetooth 4.0 functional, connecting to multiple BT devices I have for sound and video without any issue. In addition ran multiple streaming content for many many hours and no issues with new hardware. Excellent fit, function, and dependability thus far. All this said, I did do my research to ensure I got the correct dual band+BT card for desktop, which happen to be this model. I am totally ecstatic and satisfied with my purchase, delivery time, and functionality of this product so far. Product arrives in a static bag and appears to be new. Shipping material could have been a bit more padded, even though this device is no bigger than the area of a half dollar. So if this is a match fit for your dual band + BT 4.0 needs, then you should be up and running in no time after installation.

I have a "HP ENVY Dv7 7255DX" and wasn't sure if this Wifi Card would workwork in such an old Laptop, however I took the plunge and on installationusing Windows 10 O/S it detected the card and installed driver almostimmediately, a short time later the Bluetooth driver was also installed.To give it a test, I connected to my Modem Via 5G section and downloadediTunes 64BIT 145Meg file, it completed in 37 seconds, I am very happywith the result.

I looked around on line for awhile to resolve my wifi issue on the Lenovo U430p touch laptop. The Intel wifi card that came with it cannot connect to 5Ghz band, which means slow downloads, speeds, etc. This card fixed that problem. Easy to install, no special tools beyond the small phillips screwdriver. The big hold up was getting the right driver for the wifi card. I used the app Driver Easy (the free addition) to find the right driver after searching for hours online. Once installed the card works like a charm. If you have a Lenovo U430p, this this is the wifi card you are looking for.
