SwinglineElectric Stapler, 20 Sheet Capacity, Portable, Compact, Battery, Black (42132)

I work in a transmission shop and we do a lot of paperwork for each individual order. We process 15-20 orders a day on some days and some of these orders have upwards of 12-15 sheets in paper in them. This stapler has no problem stapling through all of these pages at once. The only complaint that I have is that you have to have the paper perfectly straight into it's "mouth" to get it to activate and apply the staple. But it still works really well. I don't know what we would do without it at this point. Hand staplers just weren't cutting it.-As a mom of 3 kids, I spend a lot of time shopping for deals on the best products out there for my family. It's important to me that if we're spending our hard earned money that we get a top notch product in return. I often rely on the reviews and opinions of others when contemplating purchasing a new product that I haven't tried before myself. Because of that, any products that I buy (whether on Amazon or from a 3rd party) I always make sure to leave a detailed review of the product to help others when selecting items to purchase, as well. My family tests these products fully before forming a solid opinion and writing a review. When I write a review, I keep in mind that those reading are also looking for honesty about the product and want an unbiased opinion to go by. Update: I purchased this stapler November 2014 and now its 2.5 years later and I'm very happy to report that this stapler still works like the day I got it. I change the batteries (4AA's) about twice a year but this thing is used quite a bit. I still wish it would hold more than half a sleeve of staples but hassle of refilling is worth it. I would definitely buy again.I've had this stapler for a little over a week and I still love it. It's fast and so easy to use. I would definitely buy this again.Warning: in the description of this stapler it tells you that the max number of pages is 25 when its really 20. It even states that right on the front of the thing AND the box. It also holds less than a sleeve of staples so if you staple a lot you'll be refilling this thing twice as much as you would a standard stapler.

Perfect for the office, especially at schools and universities, this comes in handy when stapling dozens of assignments and other paperwork.

Pros: I had had a Swingline electric stapler for 10 years. It finally gave up the ghost, and I purchased this Swingline stapler to replace it. It works like a charm. I especially like the feature that allows me to set the depth of the staple on the page. The stapler performs superbly stapling 20 sheets of paper together. I expect this stapler to last a long time, even though this one was made in China and my previous stapler was made here in the US. If it doesn't last, I'll let you know.The only problem I've had with the stapler is that the staple channel is difficult for me to pull out in order to replace staples. But that is due to my arthritis and weak grip strength. My husband has no difficulty pulling the channel out.

THE SIZE OF THE STAPLER WAS BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT.UNFORTUNATELY, IT JAMS A LOT.I TRIED TO STAPLE 6 PAGES AND IT KEPT JAMMING AFTER THAT.ITS NOT VERY FAST EITHER.

It is strange to say I love a stapler but so many that I have had in the past I have hated so I am thrilled with this product. It is quiet and it is not as big as I expected it to be. I really like the fact that it has both a power cord and that you can put batteries which I didn't know when I purchased it. All is all I can say that this was a great value and my favorite stapler ever. Recommend it. I used it for stapling raffle booklets made of cardstock and it went through 6 pieces like it was a simple piece of paper.

I hate this stapler more than my idiot neighbor and my sore knee combined.This stapler doesn't work well at all. One has to move the corner of the paper in and out in order to get a staple to drive into the paper. Then, the staple arrives too far from the corner where one wants it. This is extremely flimsy, and feels like it would easily break, if it fell from the height of a standard desk. I suppose it is my fault for not checking to see if there is a way to manually drive a staple, as with other similar staplers. The capacity of staples is also much less than one would expect, given the size of the stapler.Mysteriously, the stapler started jamming each and every time, and then stopped working altogether, one day after my return window closed. This is a horrible product. Steer clear of it.

It's perfect! Very quiet. Easy to add staples. Very lightweight. I work in a place where stapling occurs all day every day. The sensor is good. The slide to lengthen or shorten the edge to staple area maneuvers easily but doesn't get knocked out of place with paper touching it. I think it is very good quality!
