These pots are perfect for my African Violets. I have always used the wick watering method for them and these are great because of the clear base- you can see when more water needs to be added.

These are really good for plants in small (3”-3.5”) nursery pots. I use them for newly ordered plants when they arrive. I just set the small nursery pot into the inner pot and use a chopstick to stick the wick through. It helps a lot for keeping moisture consistent during the acclimation process. My only complaint is the entirely clear outer pot since algae can grow really quickly. I’ve used stained glass paint and regular paints mixed with floetrol to obtain a transparent color on them. To keep it from chipping I spray them with clear spray paint (the outdoor or triple thick versions hold up for longer than the basic clear spray paint). Happy growing :-)

I have dozens of these Lyellfe self-watering pots. I use them primarily for my large African Violet collection and I could not be happier with them. They are sturdy yet lightweight and are so simple to use. African Violets should be watered from the bottom or watered with a wick, as is the case with these pots. They do such an amazing job of housing my plants and keeping them healthy. I can see at a glance whether they need water and they are very easy to top off. I love these pots and look forward to many more years of beautiful violets thanks to these beauties.

These little pots are a great bang for your buck! I don’t use the little cotton string, instead I fill it past the bottom of the interior pot so that my carnivorous plants can sit in water. Easy to see when they need more water through the clear bottom. Very happy with these!

They are great for my African Violets. Takes the guessing out of how much water they need. Just keep water in the bottom and they use it as they need it.

Für kleine Pflanzen und Setzlinge wirklich super. Macht gießen zum Kinderspiel. Kein bohren in der Erde mehr um zu sehen ob die Pflanzen Wasser brauchen. Ich benutze nur noch solche Töpfe.
