Old Mountain10122 Cast Iron Muffin Pan - 6 Impression

Going to take many uses to make it non stick. Does not fit paper muffin cups. It is deeper, and a bit smaller radius than your standard muffin size. Works great for bread, but you cant get muffin tops until it is well seasoned. To start, just fill them half way or 2/3 so they don't rise over the top, else it is not possible to pop them out.

I bought this muffin pan to use for metal casting. I like to melt down spare aluminum and copper wires, then pour them into an ingot mold for later use. This muffin pan is great for creating small ingots and can handle the temperatures of molten aluminum, copper, and brass.

By going off the dimensions stated I assumed the pan would be bigger around. The deepness was okay. Very disappointed in the size of the product.

I was expecting something close to cupcake size. They are 1/3 of that. Six of these might satisfy one person.

That it is cast iron

Usually, there are 2 sizes of muffin tins, one for mini muffins, and one for the standard size. This was neither, so if you wanted to use paper liners, you can't, because paper liners come in just the 2 sizes. I almost strictly cook with cast iron, and I assumed each impression was of the standard's a bit smaller. the muffin tins, however, are very well made and durable. Their quality is a '10'!

Too small need a bigger pan. Really don’t like it
