I love these cards.
I love them. Marking system is surprisingly hidden for how easy it is to read. It hides well and you can blow minds with no-setup and no-skill mentalism tricks. They also look really cool. It's a brain twister to touch brand new feeling cards that look like you forgot them in the garden over winter.

Your great-grandpa's playing cards
I LOVE these cards. The look is perfect for a routine I like to perform. They look ancient and well used, but have that familiar Bicycle air-cusion feel. The only thing killing the old-time look is the seal at the opening and the bottom of the box with the barcode and recycling symbol. The Red version of these cards had a faded look barcode, while the blue ones had a bright white and black barcode. I removed the seal from the top of the pack, and covered the barcode with a very old postage stamp which cost me all of a quarter. The other pack I tore off that portion of the bottom and dirtied up the underlying cardboard. The underlying portion is bright white, and need to be colored in a bit to look right. The 'wear' design on the card backs is consistent but not identical. The card markings are not the easiest to see, but are clear to me from a distance of about two feet. Then again, I don't have the best eyesight in the world. They are also much easier to read than many of the other marked decks I have. Of course anyone seeing this old beat up deck would never suspect they'd be marked. After a few days of heavy usage, the cards are starting to develop that 'used' look which I'm looking for.I will be buying more of these.UPDATE: I've seen several people complaining that the deck came with a RED back queen of hearts. Both of the 1800 decks come with an EXTRA queen of hearts in contrasting backs, used for magic tricks. Each deck comes with 2 queen of hearts, one in the matching back, and one in the opposite. Any complaints about not being able to use these because one card is wrong, it totally mistaken. Check again.

Might be cool but a bit weird when playing poker
The Queen of harts is red. Seems to be something others are experiencing. Might be cool but a bit weird when playing poker lol

What a great deck of cards!
Close your eyes and hold these cards, and you will know this is a brand new deck. They are crisp, with the glide and ease of handling that you would expect from any new Bicycle deck. Now open your eyes...the "wear and tear" look is impressive! From the worn out look on the box itself, to the beat-up look of each card face and back, this deck is sure to add a touch of personality to card tricks or poker games. My one worry before the cards arrived: Would the wear pattern on the back of the cards be identical from card to card? The answer is yes! This matters because, without it, this essentially would become a marked deck of cards, where you could pick out a certain card by looking for differences in the wear and tear. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you plan to use these), the pattern is identical from card to card (on the backs...not on the faces). On a related note, the wear pattern on the back is NOT symmetrical. In other words, if you take a card from a brand new unshuffled deck, rotate it 180 degrees, and replace it, you will be able to find that card again because the wear pattern is not the same from one end of the card to the other. This, too, has its advantages and disadvantages depending on how you plan to use the cards. These were definitely worth the price! I only purchased the blue cards, but it's time for me to go and order the red ones too!
