ball does glow in the dark, just as described, fun soccer ball to use with friends or family, probably not going to last a long time, but it's still fun :)

Update (2 years post-purchase): Still love this ball and it's in its fifth season of use! I've just ordered another for our team since the fall season makes for darker and darker practices on our unlighted scrimmage field and we've come to rely on this ball so much. My teenagers use this ball at home all the time, including playing "soccer tennis" on hard surfaces and for banging against a brick wall (all of the print is long gone from the outer surface). We even took it to the beach this year. It never fails to get a reaction from people who see it bouncing around in the dark. I did have to replace one of the two lights, but they're available from GlowCity and are very reasonably priced (I purchased a couple of extra lights, just in case). I also bought a pack of 100 LR44 button batteries (it uses six at a time) really cheap ($10.26) on Amazon, so I now replace the batteries more frequently to keep the ball at its brightest. With its 30 second idle time automatic turn-off feature the batteries really do last a very long time. Still exceeds my expectations!Original review:This ball amazes everyone who sees it! When I switch it in to our late-evening soccer scrimmages, our players are always delighted and the game goes on much later than before. Coupled with hi-viz orange and hi-viz green pinnies, we can play past dark. I've used this ball for many games and the batteries hold up very well. It has dimmed slightly, but still has a lot of life in it before I'll need to replace the batteries It is a slightly heavy ball, and has a rubber exterior, but it works fine, even for heading, holds air well, is remarkably round, well balanced and seems to be almost indestructible. The light works consistently after many, many hard kicks by 13 - 18 year old players. Stays on for 30 seconds after it stops moving and requires a solid kick or drop to activate it. Never goes on in the bag to run down the batteries.

I meant to buy the rechargeable version but got distracted by fast delivery. Here it is a few days later and the original set of batteries (it takes 2 at a time and comes with spares) have held up very well. The ball is very bright at night and the kids love running out to play as soon as it gets dark.It's not a soccer ball, it has the wrong texture and is harder so you have to be more careful when kicking and playing with it but it's fun

Bought this for my nephew for a Christmas present and he loves it!! He’s a soccer junky so now he plays during the day and at night!!

Normal size soccer ball, color is fun and the fact it glows is endless fun for my kiddos. Easy and fast to pump with air, holds air well, and comes with plenty of batteries to keep the party going for months, maybe even years. Very great quality and definitely worth the money.

Love this ball. It's easy to use and easy to inflate andy my son is having a blast with it. The kids at his school also enjoy it because it easy to find.

Love this (bought for a gift) but am a little disappointed that it did not come inflated. Looks like I need to get a pump. Other than that, I think it is a fun idea for a soccer lover - but if I had seen it did not come inflated I would have choice one of the other glow-in-the-dark soccer balls as the price difference is not much.
