Good! Thin tidy handwriting on wet pages
Writes well on matt laminate and Rite in the Rain notebooks. Additionally works on rain soaked pages of the aforementioned notebook brand. Nice and light, sturdy enough even with repeated snapping together and apart, and fits in tiny chest zip pockets. A good investment for thin & neat writing outdoors, especially if you aren't fond of thick perma markers.

They rite in the rain
As I can’t justify out of this world prices for a fisher space pen (see what I did there) #dadjokes I picked up this 2 pack on a sale day. They work as they should, so can’t complain. But I will anyway! They are a lot smaller than you imagine, not the comfiest to write with, but then they won’t be used for essays. A little pocket clip would of been handy, but they do the job they were designed for, that’s all you can ask for at the price

there are two in the pack
Had thought there was inly one in the pack there are in fact two. Additionally they wrote while paper was saturated with water and also functioned while water was running on the page surface. Note: it was all weather paper I was writing on.

Compact and handy
Perfect little pen for archaeology. The lid fixes securely and will write in any weather. Compact and easy to pop in a pocket

Would buy again
Much cheaper than a space pen, but also much less ink too. If you pull out the nib with pliers to have a look the amount of ink has got to be less than 1ml. So really for occasional writing tasks, and not for taking notes etc. That said, it does write well in the rain (with the special paper) and I don't even notice it in the back pocket becasue its so light. They are cheap enough that if lent to someone in a stressful situation it might not be as important to get it back (after loosing two spacepens this way . . .) imo, therefore a win.

Tiny amount of ink
The amount of ink in these pens is utterly ridiculous. It’s absolutely minuscule. Even though the top half of the pen fits into the bottom part which makes it more compact and easier to store in a notebook or diary that effectively halves the room for the ink refill and then that half is mainly taken up by a large spacer. This means that only about a fifth of the pen has ink. Also it won’t write on my hand if it is even slightly damp. Avoid.

Does what it says on the tin
Not used it much, it is in my hillwalking bag. But feels comfortable to hold.
