Before anyone else makes my mistake, note the specifications! The hemming swirl thing is a very specific tool for specific machines. This product page has a couple of different hemming tools and some may work for your sewing machine while others won't! So don't buy it just because someone said "It works for my Singer Heavy Duty!" Think, WHAT works? I have a Singer Heavy Duty (idk what model) and I saw someone say that "it works for Singer Heavy Duty, so I assumed they were referring to the swirl hemming tool. I was wrong. The swirl does NOT work with all Singer Heavy Duty sewing machines. Check out my photos, my SHD does not have screws in front of the foot, it has them on the sides, makes a huge difference.Now the tool itself is splendid, I fanengled it into the proper spot and with some effort on my part in keeping it straight, it hemmed things beautifully! So, it works! IF it works with your sewing machine. Now, I don't want to return it because it was my fault, so I think I will gift it to my seamstress friends who may have different models of sewing machines. :)Long story short, read the description carefully!!!

This is a strong magnet and does not move easily when you are sewing. The price was great. I wish I had known such a product existed- I would’ve bought this years ago. This is so much better than the Post-It note I used to use. No more wonky stitch lines. Straight hems at last.

I really like how easy it is to use - magnet is pretty powerful. Had issues with the magnet slipping from alignment. Not sure if vibration of machine was causing. If I didn't watch it, my seams became crooked. Other than that - it works great.

It worked well for me

Works great on my Janome arctic crystal. Comes with two different sized magnets.

I cannot use on my Bernini......magnet too strong, pulls sole plate up while I am sewing. It cannot be used for 1/4-inch seams (quilt making). It sits so close to the 1/4-inch foot, that it is on top of the right hand feed dog.......this item moves when the feed dogs push it away. I do not have another machine, so I cannot comment on what machines it will work on.

The Sewing Magnetic Seam Guides are Excellent little gadgets they work great on my brother CP6500. The magnet is strong and stays put and as a bonus its great for picking up lost pins in the carpet.
