My favorite rod for surf fishing with.
Paired this with a solid 3000 reel for my surf lightweight surf fishing setup. Definitely my go to in the SoCal surf. Handled some large shovelnose guitarfish, 40” leopard shark and more. Has a great sensitive feel and is sturdy through transport. It’s lightweight and has steady action for casting and lure use.
