Nice drink bottle! This bottle is nice sturdy glass- not too thin. The silicone wrap keeps it safe from clinking or slipping in your hand, and I love the quick open top- which also has a lock to prevent inadvertent opening or spills. I prefer drinking from glass, rather than plastic or metal, so this works really well! Doesn't Leak!

Perfect, simple design. Intuitive, uncomplicated. Fits a straw inside without it being wedged against the lid, but also designed so the straw doesn't sink down into the rest of the bottle thanks to its smaller opening at the top. Lid is simple to clean, without having to worry about the gasket found in most other water bottle designs. It is leak proof when turned on its side, and the lock seems to work pretty well for keeping the lid from opening unintentionally. It is a bit hefty but that is to be expected from a glass water bottle. The glass is thick, but I recommend being extra careful not to drop it, just in case. I had gone through trial and error trying to make myself drink more water, but I hated plastic, and most reusable bottles had a flaw. Sliding lids, straws, straws with caps, sipper lids, stoppers, plastic, silicone, metal, I had tried them all. This has beat them all by far.

Best Water bottle why? Esy to hold nevr slippery,I can see when to refill, I dont have to be concered about the glass bottle ever breakIng and it beutiful and I love the pop up lid cuz I like to chug! The water taste soooo clean because there is nothing cleaner than Glass! the carry loop is great also It is very durable with the silicone covering

Since it's glass, there aren't any lingering odors, discoloration, or residues from drinks. It's fairly heavy when filled with water - too heavy for me to take it on a walk and hold (I'm a fit man with average hands). The silicone is grippy all the time. ONE ISSUE: The hinge pin that holds the lid onto the bottle slowly slides its way out over a couple days, so you need to push it back in flush with your fingernail, which is easy and has little resistance; just an annoyance. It's a product design flaw, not just my bottle.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’m loving how I can drink from this and the lid stays stationary! The grip is soft to the touch and sturdy. The handle is well thought out too and stays put without getting in the way! The glass is great and not too heavy. It fits in my cars smaller drink space. We replaced all our plastic drinking containers with glass. There’s so much plastic in ppl they’re getting it in their brains! Thank you for making a top notch product!

I love this cup. I asked for my first one for Christmas. I wanted a cup that was fully glass (many have a plastic straw/opening). The lid is plastic but I don't mind because it doesn't touch your drink/mouth. Another must have for me was for the opening to be big enough to fit most ice cubes (I like my water ice cold). I did order ice trays that make skinny cubes, but most regular ice cubes can fit as long as you don't put too much water in the tray.I also love the silicone cover this cup comes in, because with me liking my water really cold, the glass obviously condensates as it gets warmer. The cover makes it less likely to slip out of your hands. The cover doesn't have a way to come off which I don't like, but it's not a deal breaker for me.The cup that I received for Christmas ended up breaking but it was my fault. I often stick it in the freezer for awhile, instead of putting ice in it. A few days ago I forgot it in the freezer overnight, and in the morning it was cracked. I ordered a new one immediately and hopefully won't make the same mistake again lol. Love my Ello cup!

The Peoples Pharmacy podcast covered how plastic bottles routinely leach plastic particles into our bodies, which I want to avoid.This one seemed rugged and had a nice, protective rubber cover over it so I got one.So far, it's great.The top pops open with a simple button but also has a latch to keep lock it shut to avoid spillage.The rubbery covering protects it but it's not perfect to take caution with the glass.Also, the rubber cover retains water so avoid getting water on it unless you like it dribbling water for an hour after you get it wet.The sealing lid seems good and has a nice 'pop' when you open bit. (See video)The glass makes it heavy so it may be a bit heavy for lighter bags but I keep my on my nightstand so it's not an issues.Other than that, seems great.Try one.

This is a nice glass water bottle. I've had it for 11 days. I like that I can clean it and see that it's clean. Two things- The first week it opened so easily. 11 days later I really have to make an effort to push the button to get the top to pop open. The bottle itself doesn't leak. However when I'm filling it and water gets down the side of the container, it will drip on me when I turn the bottle up to drink out of it. So now I'm careful when I fill the bottle to get the water directly in the hole. Otherwise I need to dry off the outside of the bottle before I use it. It is heavier than a plastic bottle and I wouldn't want it any bigger, but I'm glad to have the glass and the protective sleeve. With these things in mind I would still recommend it.
