Excellent quality. Fits comfortably. The material looks like leather. The tentacles look cool.

It’s pretty good especially for the price. I used to think it was way too big for my head but once I smooshed it down it looked a lot better

The detail is phenomenal

Arrived on time. Pictures appear like the hat is made of a single material. It is not. The top of the hat is suede. The outside of the hat is shiny black. The inside of the hat has velcro to change the hat size. This is frustrating to me. I was planning on embellishing the hat with paint by dry brushing some details on the hat, including on the octopus legs. But with three different kinds of black materials on this hat, that's going to be a nightmare. Now I have to spend time prepping the hat by layering coats of Mr. Super Clear on it before I can even begin painting. Hopefully that will work, but who knows.

Probably should have been able to tell from the picture but is much too big for women. Gave it to my brother-in-law instead and he loves it. Looks very nice on him. It came a little creased and it’s impossible to get those out due to the material. Disappointed about it because it cost more than similar hats.

Great fit

Love the adjustable velcro strap inside hat for size. Plenty large enough to fit over a wig for costume. Paintable material with acrylic paints.

The material is a foam, like what would be used in an exercise mat or black pipe insulator, which works surprisingly well for this hat. It holds it's shape but able to be bent/adjusted, lightweight without sacrificing too much on durability, which pairs with the softness of the material to be comfortable, and doesn't look like it's made of foam without closer inspection. And the velcro head strap adjustment is pretty good.
