Gas Range Replacement Knob Set with Universal Insert Adapters (Gas Range) New

I love these knobs. My old knobs looked worn. These were a perfect replacement.

Did not last long. The plastic broke on the inside on some.Disappointed with these.

The holes in the sleeves of the knobs were too large for the pins on the control valves of my Magic Chef range. Neither of the oven control faces had numbers that lined up with the original.

These gas stove/oven knobs are called "universal." They are not. There are two sizes of plastic shanks to put over the metal posts that the knobs should fit on. The plastic shanks don't fit the metal posts. When I tried (Using BOTH sets of shanks), they could not "push in" which is necessary to be able to initiate the gas flow. They also tended to not grip the metal and then spin ineffectively. Would not recommend. We are now just dong what we did before - using our fingers the grasp the metal posts and adjusting the burners. Our old oven dial still works. When that breaks, we will probably just have to buy a new stove/oven.

These replacement knobs we're extremely easy to install.
