Great gift, keeps kids off devices and having good old fashioned fun!
The media could not be loaded. Lots of fun experiments! Easy to read directions with pictures. The experiments donāt take long, which is helpful for my 9yr old son who has ADD. Clean up is easy, great for indoor play this summer!

Great fun teaching tool
My grandkids LOVED this little science kit. They started in on it as soon as they got it. The kids are homeschooled so not only did this give them hours of enjoyment but it also counted towards their studiesThey learned a lot from it and had fun while they were learning

Balloon experience
My God son loves this so so much! Just be careful bc on day 3 of having the balloon after being blown up with the baking soda and vinegar, it popped and got in his eyes! Thank God we were able to just wash it out and he is fine. I just wanted to warn you all to maybe get rid of them as soon as you are finished!

Get this for your child if you have a hard time getting them off their tablets! Awesome product!!
The media could not be loaded. This box is amazing! My daughter is 7, and we noticed she was losing interest in art, and board games, and all of her standard toys, and wanting to spend more time on her tablet and electronics, so we intervened with some brain power activities to try and get her to use the more creative side of her brain. This science box was a hit! I love that it was simple enough for her to do the experiment's on her own, with our supervision, as well as it also being a family fun experience we could all do together. She now wants to be a scientist š and after having this box for over a week now, she still has plenty more experiments to do, because there are about 36 different experiments total! This was a steal for the price, and I plan on purchasing 2 more of these to gift to other children in our family for Christmas! Highly recommend this product. It's a shame that kids get so absorbed in mindless electronic games these days as opposed to using their imaginations and creativity the way we did when we were kids, and we need more games and stuff like this in our children's toy and game arsenal, so that they can use their brains and actually learn important, beneficial, and useful information, while still having so much fun. The best part about these experiments is the self-esteem and self-worth that it gives a child when they see the results and the outcomes of their experiments, knowing that they did it correctly and created their own little scientific masterpiece.

Not all-inclusive
I got this set to share with my 5 year old daughter. I read the reviews and I read that everything you need was included. Every science kit I have gotten in the past has needed a lot of extras to complete the experiments, so I was really looking forward to getting one that had everything!Alas, this kit is the same as all the others. I clearly understand needing to provide water, but there is a lot that you need to supply that you may not have. So aside from water at various temps, I thought I would list those things that you have to have to complete these. Some, like salt, we can be reasonably sure most have, but it also could have been included easily. Other things, like cabbage, you will probably have to buy and if course it couldn't have been included, but there are likely substitutions that could have been made to create a similar enough experience for that concept that could have been included.Items you may or may not have, which are necessary to complete the entire kit are liquid dish soap, alcohol, (white) vinegar, baby oil, vegetable oil, honey, eggs, uncooked rice, salt, sugar, lemon, starch, apple, cabbage, orange peel, printer paper, shreds of paper, thick paper, A4 paper, paperboard, paper towels, tissues, pens, sharpened pencil, colored pencils, markers, scissors, Scotch tape, double sided tape, plastic sheet, glass, tea towel, pure woolen fabric, towel, plastic bag, matches, lighter, ice cream sticks, soil, small rocks, 2 clear containers that nest - 1 small and 1 larger, siphon straw, glass container, ceramic plate, tray, goblet, knife, bowls, dirty penny, small object (like Legos), rose, transparent bottles, and hair dryer.Clearly, not 'everything you need' is included. It's like going on an all inclusive vacation and finding out that you have to supply your own beverages - they don't even offer water.I suggest either that they are upfront about needing additional items, which you may or may not have to purchase (I don't consider cabbage a common household item, and no one is going to want to buy a hair dryer for a single science experiment), or they need to remove or rework those experiments that require more than water so they are legitimately providing everything you need for all of the experiments included.I do like the simple explanation of the scientific concept being demonstrated, and I like the variety of experiments included, but I am disappointed that the all-inclusive kit just wasn't.
