The product overall is fairly solid but there are a few cons that prevented a 5 star rating.Cons:- The batteries did not arrive pre-charged and had to be charged prior to use.- The batteries rapidly lost their charge in colder conditions than the official GoPro battery.- The batteries generally held a shorter charge than the official GoPro battery.Pros:- The batteries were recognized by my GoPro Hero 5 Black and fucntioned properly with the unit without lag nor rejection.- The charging base has a third open port which is perfect for charging my third official GoPro battery and also features an indicator light while charging.- The charging base has two cord plug in options for either a micro USB or USB Type-C cord.- The batteries come with individual plastic flip-top cases for safe storage options.Overall for the price of both batteries, the charging base, and micro USB cord, I would still consider this product a worthwhile purchase.

For not much more than you would pay for a single original GoPro battery, you get two batteries plus a charger that can handle your new batteries and the one that came with the camera. That's fantastic since the GoPro cameras don't come with a separate charger which would allow you to charge batteries outside the camera.The batteries work fine in my GoPro Hero 6 Black with firmware v1.60 (currently the latest). I like the fact that I can use either the included Micro USB cable or the GoPro USB C cable with the charger -- that means I have one less item to pack into the small Pelican case holding my GoPro stuff. I also appreciate the plastic cases for the batteries, they keep the batteries dry and clean, and prevent accidentally shorting out exposed contacts.I noticed that some people reported problems charging their batteries with this charger. I wonder how many of them took note of the fact that charging multiple batteries requires a high current (at least 2A) USB port? I have had no trouble charging all three of my batteries at once.

First order received did not work. Returned it for a replacement, which also did not work. Contacted the company, which responded promptly with an offer to ship a replacement, which never arrived. All the batteries have worked fine if I charge them in the camera, but the chargers do not work. The batteries have as long a run time as the official product and seem to be of good quality. This is a good price for 2 replacement batteries, I guess. But if you really need a charger, keep looking.THIS IS AN UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST: I finally received the third charger and tried it today. It worked fine. It takes a little manuevering to get the batteries to seat and the charging light to change from green to red (charging). I tried multiple times to get the batteries to make connection with the previous chargers and could not, but I never jiggled them and pushed in hard. That seemed to work with this one, so in the interest of a fair review I've changed my rating from 1 star to 2 stars, as it could have been operator error with the first two that did not work.

Pros: Battery seems to have about 10-20% longer charge than the GoPro brand battery.Con: In less than a week one battery stopped working in the GoPro. The batteries do not sync well with the GoPro. It often was fully charged and then when in the camera it said the battery level was low, and at 0% once I hit the battery low-level warning to close the warning, it would be fine and if I restarted the camera it would show it was fully charged. So beware that it is not accurate when showing the charge level, so you may be disappointed when you want to record an important event. For me that even was snorkeling in the ocean and one of the batteries fully charged was actually dead, frustrating to say the least.Also the charger could use a clicking in base for the batteries. Luckily there are lights to show that items are being charged but placing them in would feel better with a click to know they are placed in well IMHO.

On time as advertised, great value. Works well overseas (europe ) without need of a power transformer. One of the batteries provided did fail to hold a charge after several uses. The other one and the Original oem GoPro battery included with my camera continue to work and charge fine. If not for the failure of one of the included batteries I would have given 5 stars.

On the positive end the batteries have decent life during usage and charge fairly quickly.On the negative, the micro-B charge port broke in the first week of using it. The C port is still working but I hold my breath every time I plug it in.

Sometimes the charger is a bit picky for all batteries. Didn't have trouble on the GoPro brand but sometimes the charger won't read my other batteries.

Product does a great job. The batteries charge quickly and seem to hold a charge equal to the original Hero 5 Black edition battery. I used the GoPro for snorkeling, and I can easily charge all.the batteries on the beach with a power bank. The base has 3 slots so your original battery can be charged with the others.
