The luxury pen with a hidden camera is a really useful item to carry around. it has the look of an expensive pen, good to pair with a nice suit. When charged the battery lasts long enough.It is unobtrusive, discreet and easy to use. Quality of the video is awesome. Its motion detection is sufficient.Would recommend it. I have bought the pen twice, the second after a few months when my brother took the first pen. He didn't know it was a spy camera when he took it. He might find out once the ink runs out.

Camera functionality:Sounded good. Had it for 10 months and used it intermittently. Hidden in the instructions is a note to charge it each month, which I have done religiously. Now it has stopped working (won't even switch on). I had switched it on this morning fine, then charged it, and now nothing. Wasted money.

I bought this for personnel security and to evidence any breaches of thisAlthough it ha no image stabilization if you are carrying and it's filming, walking will shake the picture so simply standing still while capturing is best or have the pen in a cup on a table it's fineIt works well in daylight though indoors the picture can be darkerBut, it's under £30 and a device that works in the dark and has stabilized video will cost in excess of £300This pen cam is extremely good kit for the very low price and it has me I inspired to buy moreIt works for filming just over 2 hours, it's storage is as big as whatever memory card you install it comes with a 32 gigabyte card installed though I advise a faster memory card to improve quality of film and faster read and write speeds as the one that comes with the pen is a standard card not a ultra speed, but again for under £30 it still comes ready to use with a memory cardAnd the build quality is good and the pen looks good and is very stylishHope this helps any one considering buying the pen, it's in my humble opinion an absolute bargain and I have no complaints

Brilliant quality item..looks the business...feels good quality... but just not user friendly with regard to memorising numerous presses on the cap to activate different functions. The big downside for me was the fact when this very very discreet camera IS recording there's a pinpoint red light facing the person/area being recorded. Hardly discreet is it! Shame. Great idea, quality good. Practical use with discretion being paramount...Zero.

not the best in low light conditions... very blurred,i tried the recording feature with the lense cover on and the quality was terrible so i took it off..(the lense cover is only held on by a tiny blob of glue and comes off very easily) and the difference was night and day... very good quality recordingthe pen is very nice to write with just a little on the heavy side

I bought this pen as I'm having trouble with a housemate and the landlady has banned cctv cameras as they "set the housemates paranoia off" not only has the camera been useful in capturing clear footage but the clip is strong enough that it holds onto my shirt even when I'm cycling so I've taken to recording some of my bike rides. It has completely flown under the radar with my landlady even borrowing it to write something during a meeting and she had no idea. It is an actual pen and it is easy enough to swap out the ink cartridges and access the memory card that comes with it. The size doesn't give anything away and just feels like a well built, bulky pen. As someone with hypermobile joints, it's actually a really easy pen to use too. I haven't used the motion detection feature but it does have instructions on how to use it all. It is in broken English but it's still easy enough to understand. Overall it's helped to build a layer of security to help keep me safe at home and on the roads while cycling. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a sneaky bit of spy gear.
