Fiesta 19-Ounce Medium Bowl, Tangerine

I bought this bowl for my pup to eat out of, it’s a unique color, I already had 2 in turquoise, this deep purple is a nice addition!

I own a bowl like this, and I recently purchased two more for gifts. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, and perfect for soup or cereal.

Fiesta has been our goto dish ware for the last few years. While we have always loved Fiesta ware and their colorful dinnerware, we received other dishes for a wedding gift, and when those Pottery Barn dishes chipped and scratched within a year or two, we were new parents and grabbed up Ikea sets for a bit. So when looking for a new option, we chose Fiesta! We have many colors and love it. With a family of boys, I am pleasantly surprised that we have yet to break a single dish, we have not chips, and our whole family still loves the colorful set. We grabbed another bowl and opted for the beautiful scarlet. It is a vivid and beautiful pure red, and the size is great for stews, rice dishes, smaller pasta, etc. We use this size a lot. The gusto is possibly more popular with our family, but this 19 oz comes in a close second!

It was delivered on time and not damaged. This was a replacement bowl being I dropped the original. The product is well made and stands up to wear and tear (minus dropping it a tile floor). The product is a good value and will use this company to replace other items I have if need be.

My package was delivered to the wrong address. The address on box was not correct. Luckily, a lady across town phoned me to see if I was expecting a package. After work I drove over and got my bowls. Inconvenient. The bowls themselves are very nice, what I expected, I have several colors in my dishes, makes a great table presentation! You won’t be disappointed in the product, now if they can just get the address correct.

I broke a bowl like this from my wife's collection when I first met her. She'd been growing this collection since college and I'd hear about it all the time for 7 years. It's been 6 months now and I have not heard a single peep about it. Amazing price for the peace and sanity it brought.

I like the bowl itself, but it came to me with a tiny chip on the rim. It carries a 5 year guarantee against chipping, but mine came that way. Too much hassle and expense to send back. Would have given it a 5 except for the chip.

My wife started collecting Fiesta ware years ago, but most where lost in a couple of move. We had a couple of partial sets, but all of these bowls where lost, so I decided to buy a couple of each color to get our collection back in order. The problem was I bought two of the Scarlet and both looked like they where dug out of the trash. They had dirty looking straw, dirt and some sort of blue stains on both. One of the two was loose in the box, and I was surprised it was still in one piece when I saw it. I hand washed, them and put them in the dishware and they're fine now, but to ship anything, let alone dinnerware looking like that is wrong.The Only Reason For 4 Stars Was They Arrived Dirty! If these two bowls had arrived like the other colors that arrived separately, I would have given them 5 stars.So now on to the bowls. If you like the style, Fiesta makes a great product. They will hold up to serious abuse (as witnessed in the two I received). The colors are great, and because of their color and shade selections they mix and match well. So you can buy a few of each of your favorite colors and they will probably look great together.At first I did not want to mix the colors at first but my wife was sure they would look good together and they do.Fiesta calls these Soup and Cereal Bowls, but since there are only two of us, we use these more for everything from serving vegetables and rice and so on. I honestly believe that you could use these bowls for just about anything that'll fit in them. The bowls have some degree of insulation so that you're not going to have many problems handling with hot ingredients.The price is about what we paid at the Pottery Barn about 7 years ago but since I haven't actually gone out to look for them I cannot say for sure how good of a deal they are. I did do an online search and found this color at the Fiesta Outlet for about $15.00 each with shipping, but that was a current sell price (3/25/13). Honestly for the quality and with Amazons reputation, the price here looks like pretty darn good.Over all Fiesta might not be everyone's idea of what good dinnerware should look like, but they are durable and with the color selection you have a lot of options. In my opinion Fiesta would be perfect for everyday use, and a great gift for any occasion..
