Excellent Purchase
The shades were made perfectly, exactly the sizes I ordered. The room darkening option is outstanding, perfect for the bedrooms I installed them in. Customer service kept in touch throughout the process via text. They even suggested that I order only 1 shade to make sure I was happy with the custom size and quality. I did that with the understanding that the remainder of my order would be sent within two weeks of me approving the first shade and it was. Shades are built and shipped via FedEx air from China, and the packaging was superior. Great quality at a fair price!

Great shades, the devil is in the details, hanging hardware and instructions suck
These shades are great, but first off I was surprised they were not damaged in shipping.1.single thickness cardboard holding three shades between 59" and 71"w, and all 80" long. End of boxes taped very well..but they need a more stable box to ship..2.Mounting hardware, I found best to toss..and simply mount with 2.5" x 10 GRKs fasteners (with small washers)...Their mounting hardware,is flimsy and will not work on windows that do not have a horizontal wood face on the top edge of your window for an inside mount, because you can see the hardware from the front of the window..Da? One possibility is turn the mounting hardware sideways in the slot for the inside mount. But why hassle just toss them and use GRK fasteners with washers.3.Top board of the shade that holds it all together is only 2" wide by 5/8"thick..seems to small should be at least 2.5"by 3/4" our 1"thick...my guess is by keeping it smaller they can work in many more windows.4. The hardest mount on these shades is the "inside mount"...Make sure your windows are perfectly square, if off you cannot cut them to fit....Put your most stress into correctly measuring...and having only 1/4" space on the sides is really cutting it close, or they will bind...take your most time on the measurements for inside mount. if they do. not work then what do you do? As you. can see from my jpegs that I have soji screens behind my screens; which puts me into the next problem. You need more than 2.5 inches space from window to mount, otherwise their great black out material will ride, up and down on the glass...to avoid dirt and moisture to the material themselves you need approximately 1 inch between the material and glass...so your space on inside mount at a minimum should be 3" two 3.5 inches5. Now we come to the biggest problem is that the lining material is connected to the top of the shades is mounted with double stick tape velcro...NOT GOOD, as heat will soften the velcro and they will de-laminate. Look at the second image...I caught this by the time I mounted my biggest shade. 71"w x 80"L...I realized that you need to tack down the velcro tape (in between the two pieces of velcro) so you do not see the tacks from the outside....Use copper tacks, or blue-sterilized upholstery tacks...DO THAT FIRST, before doing anything else.. Now I have to take the first shade and tack it, because it de-laminated within a week if the window faces the sun. Listen, I still love the shades...you get what you pay for, they are great when properly mounted, the liner provides privacy and cuts the heat from the sun in your room, and for our Japanese Tea room (Guest room)...they look great...Forgot to mention the hardware for the cords is a joke, go to a West Marine or store with sailing supplies, and buy two 3" or 4" black plastic rope cleats for sailing, and they work great along with looking great...Would love to give Lantime... a 5 for quality, but had to honestly give them a 4, for bad instructions and mounting hardware. In terms of measurement and cutting, they are great and they will not cut until you approve all their measurements so it is on you to get it right.6. The last two shots, show the copper tacks, and nailing the velcro to the top mounting bar edge and the last shot shows the liner re-attached to the velcro strip... This should be the first thing you do before mounting...tack the velcro that holds, the black-out liner to the top mounting bar. Especially if the window is facing the sun...the heat causes the velcro to de laminate...

Beautiful shade that was cut to fit perfectly!
The shade is beautiful, just as pictured. When I placed my order the company reached out to make sure my measurements were correct. When I confirmed, they made the shade to fit EXACTLY. It couldn’t be a better fit! I will be purchasing again!

Excellent Buying Experience - Outstanding Seller
I have two sliding glass patio doors in my living room, and needed to replace their worn-out wood blinds quickly and inexpensively. These were a perfect solution! My original wood blinds cost over $1000 (20 years ago), and I couldn't justify spending even more now, as I plan to move soon. But I needed to cover my windows for privacy and light control. I researched all kinds of options and all were too expensive or just tacky-looking. Then I remembered these matchstick-type blinds, which used to be widely available but are hard to find now. The big plus on these is the option to add a light-blocking liner.Be sure to follow the measuring directions carefully. In my case, I already had blinds that fit exactly, so I simply measured my blinds. The seller was in touch with me shortly after receiving my order to double-check measurements, and they were a pleasure to deal with. It took 2 or 3 weeks for the manufacturing process, but when they were shipped, I had them 5 days later - from China! That's fast shipping! The fit was perfect, the quality as expected. The blackout liner is securely attached with velcro and does not interfere with raising/lowering. Hanging the blinds is not difficult but does require care in measuring where to place the brackets, and checking that they're level. You will need an electric drill, a level, and a screwdriver. All the necessary hardware is provided. And the best part, for me, was the cost: about $400 for four 39-inch wide panels. The other options I considered would have cost three times that! So, cost plus the seller's integrity and helpfulness made this a win-win buy!
