Bought it for a large-size rug in a dorm room - much foot traffic, the floor was cheap linoleum, still no slippage. It has been working great for two years, so there's no need to replace it. I am very pleased with the purchase!

Basic rug grip. Make sure the floor is clean before you put it down so it can have proper contact to the floor. If your rug is super light weight or natural fiber, this may still allow your rug to move around. But it works well with medium weight rugs you want to stay put. It is not a PAD in that it adds absolutely no cushion. It is for slippage only.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We bought some new rugs for the kitchen area and they arrived after having been rolled up together, so they would not lay flat on the floor as a result, and were too easy to move around. After tripping a couple of times I ordered this padded backing.The rubber material is fairly light and soft but it grips the floor really well. I added a spray on adhesive to the back of the rugs and added the padding to them. I then cut the padding around the edges so that it wasn't visible. The extra weight helps to hold the edges down and the padding keeps them in place. There is a lot of padding left over and I did the same treatment to a few others that we had. it has been a good fix. It took a little time to get it all done but it was inexpensive and still working. I have not noticed any sticking or residue on the hard wood floors either.

This is a great rug pad! It’s got a slight amount of cushioning and great grip. We had a rug that slid all over and once we put this between the rug and the floor there has been absolutely no slipping. We have this same brand under multiple rugs in our house.

This carpet pad is excellent. My round rug no longer slides as I step onto it. It was a wise investment. I recommend this product, based the performance.

They do the job. I am not completely dissatisfied as they obviously do the job and they weren't that much of a pain to cut however, they were not the exact sizes as descripted. I am just a busy mom of two and I would have loved to thrown them down but I had to unstick them in the wrapper and then cut them to size as they did not fit the exact dimensions of my rug. However, the stickiness seems to be great but I probably also could have gone with something cheaper if I was to cut them to size myself.

Perfect for keeping the dog from catapulting her bed across the room! I purchased the 4-foot round mat, cut it to the size of the bed, and no longer have dog beds moving around the room. It seems pretty 'sticky', and works great for what it does. It does have a bit of a smell initially, but I didn't really notice it once I got it in place.I appreciate that this comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, making it an easy choice to cut to size for what you need. I will be purchasing more for the other dog beds and rugs in the house.
