Excellent value, works great
The kit I received from Platinum Supply Pro L.L.C. has worked well with a Makita multi-tool. I was going to get it just for the sandpaper and buy a name brand sanding finger, but decided just to get this and buy another sanding finger later if needed. I have used this for hours of detail sanding on a truck without any problems. I wonder if the people having problems with melting are pressing too hard or using it for larger surfaces than intended. I am not easy on my tools and have not had any issues.

Well made, BUT, be careful with heat build-up, the velcro will flatten-out.

Good for the price.
The blades and their loop attachment work fine at medium speeds with moderate pressure. The base to attach the sanding pads has a hollow back. As a result, you can not attach the base "upside down". I needed to do this in order to reach certain portions of stair spindles.

Good quality sandpaper. The sanding finger held the paper securely during all (and extensive) sanding operations. Good product.

A total waste of money
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.!! The hook 'n loop pad failed after six pads of sandpaper. Each sanding pad came apart within a minute or two of use. A total waste of money.
