Hiland GFT-51030A Patio Fire Pit Propane Heater w/Glass, Square Tile

I purchased this fire pit after looking for sometime for right product based on style, size and quality/cost from the pictures and description provided by the seller, A-Z Patio and Fire, on the amazon site. I was promised the fire pit 9-14 days after ordering and after about 4 days past the EDD and no communication from the seller, I put in an inquiry through amazon. The seller apparently had been trying to reach me through the wrong cell number, but none the less, there was no attempt by email, which is on my purchase order through amazon. There was no communication regarding the process of delivering an item this large, and when I tried to contact them, every time, their mailbox was full. After a string of emails to the company, I was able to set up a delivery window, which was now 9 days past the EDD. I waited for the fire pit to arrive after confirming with DATS Trucking that morning that it would be coming, and no one showed up, and no one contacted me to tell me otherwise. Apparently the fire pit did not get put on the truck, and now it was suddenly lost. Very frustrating and I was very close to cancelling the order, had A-Z not continued to communicate with me their next step. They were able to replace the item (I'm still not clear on whether they ever found the original one), and set up delivery through a different trucking company to arrive just yesterday. This trucking company, Estes, was fantastic, and made every effort to keep me updated and secure the firepit at my home with my permission to leave it if no one could be there at time of drop-off. I was very unhappy with the seller, A-Z, as far as their process of delivery goes, mostly because they did not seem on top of their merchandise deliveries, there was poor communication with me (their customer), and also, I could not reach them directly. Amazon was great though and helped me each time I called to the best of their ability offering me a refund. I decided to wait it out and I'm glad I did! A-Z came through in the end, although the whole process was frustrating. The good news is that the fire pit is beautiful and everything I wanted. My husband put it together when it arrived and we were able to enjoy it last night. It is bigger than I guess I measured, but the table top is durable and heavy and well-made. The colors are beautiful! I'm hoping it will last a long time.
