Don Robertos Premium Michelada Mix goes Great with Beer - (CANTINERO 750ml /32 OZ Bottle)

Wow, this stuff is terrible ! Couldn't believe it after the fabulous reviews. Just received today and tried it with a couple of beers. Sooooo heavy to lime that it's barely drinkable. I don't mind the spice and the flavor may be quite good if it weren't for the intolerable overwhelming lime. I've been drinking red beers for over 40 years, tomato juice, Snap-e-tom, Clamato, and Chilada and this is by far the worst ! I was in Winnemucca Nevada last summer and had homemade chilada in several Mexican restaurants all superior to this offering. They were so good I decided to try this when I saw it on a show on the travel channel. Sorry for the bad review, but either I got a bad bottle at $38 + or this mix is absolutely hideous.3/11/16 - Update, after trying this mix a couple more times (can hardly toss it at this price) finally found the right combination and actually enjoy it with about 1/2 ounce or less mixed with an ice cold beer.

I've had my share of micheladas over the years (mixes and freshly made), and find this one to be the absolute best. If you are a fan of what I call traditional micheladas (no tomato juice or Clamato), then you will probably enjoy this mix.

Bought this because of all the great reviews and let me tell you its horrible! I have tried many micheladas and thought this would replace everything needed to make one as they advertise but it doesnt. Seems like the product itself has too much of a spicy taste. Its not hot it just tastes a lot like chile. I have started to add some clamato on top of this and it seems to be a bit better. Overall i would not buy again as the price is too expensive since to make better you need to mix with other things, something they claim wont be needed.

It tastes great mixed in just about every Mexican beer that I have mixed in it.

This is especially good added to low sodium V-8 or low sodium Tomatoe juice. Sometimes I even use it as a marinade. I haven't tried it in beer but this is my 3rd large bottle in one year. I'm hooked on it.

It's great stuff, just a dab will do ya!It's my second bottle to order.
