Buckwheat pillow hulls: working well
I recently used the Zen Chi replacement hulls to re-fill an old pillow that was no longer full. I removed the old hulls, washed the pillowcase, and refilled it with the Zen Chi buckwheat hulls. What a difference! The old hulls removed from the pillowcase included many hulls that had broken into smaller bits and pieces. As a result, they no longer filled the pillow. Now, my pillow is full and does its job. Thank you!

Light and Airy!
I filled a camera beanbag with aquarium pebbles to make it waterproof but it was too heavy (buckwheat hulls when wet could mold). So I REFILLED the bag with these hulls and the beanbag is as light as air...I can take it everyplace! Because other reviews for different hulls reported broken hulls or bags or bugs I went with this brand since it's boxed and nicely sealed. It's perfect, but took about two weeks to arrive. If you don't need it in a hurry, go with this brand :-)

No bugs, makes great pillows!
I grow up using buckwheat-hulls-pillows but after coming to the US, these kinds of pillows are hard to find so I stopped using them. My husband recently was complaining about neck pain so I thought maybe I should look it up on Amazon and buy him a buckwheat pillow. They are ridiculously expensive so I decided to buy some buckwheat and make some pillows by myself. These are still not cheap, but better than most of the other ones. Some comments mentioned the bugs. I was hesitant to buy it because of that comment but then I thought these are just hulls, not the wheat, why would it have bugs in them? I decided to give it a try. Just in case, I heated and sieved the hulls. I didn't notice any bug so I bought it again. I also bought a pound of lavender to mix with the hulls and now I have two pillows that smell amazing and do not hurt our neck. They are almost half the size of the regular pillow which is enough for us. You can use two bags (4lbs) for one full-size pillow.Just make sure you use at least one extra layer of the pillowcase to keep it clean. You can wash them and dry the hulls under the sunlight.

Still Hooked Since 2016 – Buckwheat Pillows Are a Sleep Saver! 😴🌿
After experiencing whiplash, my doctor recommended trying a buckwheat pillow back in 2016—and I haven’t looked back since! The quality of the buckwheat hulls has been consistently great over the years, and they’ve truly improved my sleep. Why I love it:- 🌬️ Cooling comfort: The hulls breathe well, so the pillow never feels hot- 🔄 Customizable firmness: Add or remove filling to adjust support as needed- 🧺 No chemical smell: It’s organic, clean, and odor-free from the start- 📏 Perfect fill flexibility: One box fills my 14x20 zippered pillowcase halfway- 🛌 I typically order two boxes but found that a box and a half gives me just the right softnessOn my latest order, I tried just a single box and—so far—it feels great! That’s one of the things I love most about buckwheat pillows: you can easily tweak them for your comfort, whether it’s a firmer feel or a little more give.Final thoughts:Whether you’re new to buckwheat pillows or need a refill, this product delivers consistent quality, adjustable support, and a chemical-free sleep experience. It’s been a game-changer for me—and my neck!

Quality product
This is a really good quality buckwheat husk. I have bought it before and it lasted very long time. Perfect for my Zen Chi pillows. I'm sure I will buy this again.

Worthy investment
Have spent hundreds of dollars on so called sleep pillows that claim to have loft and support. None works. Mypillow, Layla, Casper, Tempurpedic, Bamboo pillows, etc.Buckwheat solved my pillow issues. Give it a week or so but once you get used to it, you'll probably not want to switch.•Keeps cool always, never needing to turn•Perfect loft and neck support•Adjustable loft which works well for broad shoulders (needed 3 of these bags for my pillow to get the desired height)I can't go back to traditional pillows.

GOOD TO HAVE ON HAND
If you have any kind of pillow that is filled with buckwheat this is good to have on hand because eventually you will have to refill your buckwheat pillow or neck pillow.
