Terra MediGreek Red Wine Vinegar, 17 Ounce

This vinegar is sooooo delicious. it has well balanced acidity, nice bite but a subtle sweetness. Check it out! You won't be disappointed. I previously bought it at Crate & Barrel but they stopped carrying it (or maybe they ran out). At any rate, I went on the internet to find out where I could buy it.

I enjoy this lovely vinegar on my salads! Reminds me of my favorite happy vacation spot;)

Flavor not what expected

Delicious. Tastes similar to vinegar that I had while in Greece.

Has a great flavor, we use it for homemade oil and vinegar dressing.

We absolutely love the red wine vinegar and oregano from Terra Medi. There were problems receiving my original order and I contacted the company. The customer service was amazing and I highly recommend their products.

I'm giving this product a 1 star given I thought it was important for others with sensitivity to be aware. Tried this product for the first time and immediately after I ate my freshly made Greek salad I got a raging headache for two days! Given I have been known to have sensitivity to Red Wine, I researched online and found that Red Wine Vinegar containing Tyramine (a naturally occurring Amino Acid produced during fermentation) can cause headaches. Obviously I cannot confirm it was Tyramine, but it was definitely a reaction to something in the Red Wine Vinegar. My salad was delicious, but unfortunately I will not be using the Red Wine Vinegar again. The raging headache wasn't worth it... I also bought the White Wine Vinegar - haven't tried it yet. I'm a little leery after my experience with the Red Wine Vinegar.
