Smiffys Wandering Gunman Belt and Holster

This set is EXCELLENT value for money.Really good quality belt and holster. We are using 3 of them in a production for quality Jane and they are good enough to cope with the blank-firing Colt revolver's we are using. The guns are secure even with all the dancing around - especially with the nice addition of the leg-tie on.The photo with this review shows the belt laid out with a toy (cap-gun) revolver in it. I'll add one with the replica's when they come.The 'leather' is thick yet supple and the belt is 7.5cm/3 inches wide with a good buckle. The fastening strip of leather is only a couple of mm thick but this makes it easier to make extra holes if needed. The Main 'Belt' slips underneath so it still looks good even if you're at the end of the strip.My 'Belt Line' for this - just at the top of my pelvis - is 40inches/102cm. There's still another 10cm on the fastening strip but some people may struggle depending on where they want the guns to sit.

I got this leather holster to pair with a toy gun for a western themed costume party. It's a good size and lightweight. I find it comfortable to wear and it holds my toy gun nicely. It has a nice look to it and it paired well with the costume. The durability of the belt and fastener is a bit iffy, I found it drops down more than I'd like, and it's a little flimsy, but it does the job. This is a cheap and cheerful little item, fun for a costume party and of perfectly decent quality for the price.

Very good gunbelt and well made of reasonable quality ,,only down side is the belt end to buckle is very thin and flimsy,also the bullet loops are far too big to fit dummy bullets..Hope this is helpfull

I immediately added a stronger belt to the holster, as the one it has would of failed quickly. I then went mad with a hole punch and stud kit, adding a Gun loop to tie the gun into the Holster. It looks reasonable at a distance, is light (Compared to having a leather Holster), but it serves the purpose, as costume (Cosplay) item. with the added Colt 45 Cap Gun that looks half decent. I am happy with the look for more than half price of what a replica and Holster would of cost me, and the light weight (At least my hip and leg won't be dead after a whole night of lugging around the Replica set.

Item arrived quickly, within the delivery date. And it fits perfectly. It is as described on amazon, made from good strong heavy faux leather. My partner likes this item very much, we are very happy with this purchase. I would buy more if I needed more. Very happy with this purchase .Thank you

The product that I received was certainly *not* "excellent value for money", as one other reviewer reported. Perhaps different product batches are going out under the same description but with significant variability in quality. This is not a consistently well-made product - in fact partly broken on delivery.Stitching was coming loose from two or three places. The belt is made from two pieces. One is quite thick and feels tough. The other is the part with the belt holes in it and it is made from the same plastic material but it is much thinner. This part is stitched on to the thicker material, and this is the point at which the product is failing. Stitching is coming out and some of the thinner material was ripped already, where it is stitched, when we took the belt out of the packaging. It's just not strong enough.The holster itself is okay and my little boy seems pleased with that, and he is using it in a different belt, but I feel a tad ripped off, given that this is meant to be a belt and holster kit.My advice would be to research very carefully and pay more for decent product. Visit a toy shop if possible. Such items are difficult to buy "Sight unseen".

The cost of this holster and belt suggests an all together different purchase - what you get is amazing. Really looks tha part with the intimation leather, ties for the leg and can accomadate the gun well. The belt could be a few inches longer - probably ok for 32" waist. Fortunately, the holster will slip on any belt. Excellent piece.

This is a great piece for fancy dress with a thick and robust main belt and well made holster which slides over the top. As far as the materials go, the only weakness is the smaller fastening belt/buckle; the buckle is solidly made but this smaller belt is very thin and feels flimsy.I have a 32 inch waist and it fits comfortably with a couple of inches of spare belt length. The overall look is fantastic for both western and sci-fi costumes and it stands up well to multiple uses.
