Easy to install
After reading a number of reviews I purchased this product even though some said the setup was difficult. Having installed and read the installation notes I now understand the confusion. First the mechanical install....Very easy and solid and the supplied ty wraps are excellent. There is also a wall bracket but I cant comment as I didnt use this. As for the software.....If you start reading the install notes they start with controller mode and downloading software to control the EAP. If you are just buying one for home use dont do this and just jump to via web browser. It has to be the easiest setup I have ever come across. Also, having set it up, if you log in via the IP address the information provided is amazing. You can see who is connected and the speeds plus many other aspects of operation. We used it across an a range of over 25 metres with no issues and excellent reception. I have a technical background and have used many products over the years and this is one of the very good ones..it does what it says on the tin. I thin k what people are missing is that this product can be used as a network in (for example) a hotel. In this type of installation the software allows you to manage the network, block users, review data rates across areas, manage overall data etc. this is a very competent device!

Good range, easy install, inconspicuous.
Having looked at the less well known name routers, I chose this one as I wanted something I could rely on. I have installed it in a place I would not like to have to revisit. Since its install (which was straight forward but requires you to download and install the free setup app), it has performed well. The range is very good if you have line of sight, probably 100m or better. It has been running now for a month and has always been working when I have come to use it despite it being outside in the weather. I installed it high on the roof which was painful to get to but the fact you only have to run one cable (cat6) and not power makes it so much easier. It comes with its own power injector so you don't need your own or that feature in your hub or router. All in all I would recommend this if you want something with solid build quality that's easy to install and (so far) is reliable. It's not the most fully featured but will be fine for the occasional garden browse or for wifi sensors, rain detectors, security cams etc that just require 2.4ghz as this model does not have 5ghz but I'd argue in an out door setting 2.4 is what you want due to its range advantage over 5ghz.

The range is not great, easy to set up and dependable.
Its a very easy to set up access point and unlike some other access points it reboots successfully each time following a power cut. I have access points (including some TP) where you need to reconfigure a connection after every power interruption.I used this access point to wifi the network from one building to another following DLAN degradation after a new consumer unit was installed in the secondary building. Bridging the wifi now gives a good stable connection to the second building compared to the degraded DLAN. In fact, its better than the original DLAN network in terms of U/L and D/L speed. The range is limited to around 30m in line of sight before you see a rapid fall off in performance so it isn't really a long range option. As a follow up to the original review, I have build a solar installation that is located around 30m from the access point. The inverter and optimizers are sat inside a metal shed and are network linked to enable system monitoring on apps. The signal strength is 2 bars which is sufficient to maintain a stable connection to the home network and to upload monitoring data to the internet. So, for my needs a year in, everything continues to work fine with this unit. I wouldn't want to push it much beyond 30m range.

Good WiFi point
Overall:Got this on sale for ~£70, good connection and easy setup to link to the home router, site generally has a more reliable connection, POE adapter being included is even better value than other competitors, software is alright to use but it was a bit puzzling at first.Do I recommend? Yes if it's on salePositives:Easy setup virtually and physically.Good signal and strength.POE connection.POE adapter included is great value.Negatives:Back plate (which is permanently attached to the device via cable) is a bit too short for me.Be nice for a software toggable front facing LED for power instead of just the backside.

Good product but with concerns
A good product with an great signal range my only concern is the lack of security with the device, making it an open hot spot for anyone passing by.

Highly Recommended.
The device is robust and very easy to setup via the free app or by internet browser. No ethernet cable is supplied with the device but these are available on Amazon for less than £1.00. Adjusting the antennas to get the best signal took quite a while and I found it better to wait half a day between adjustments allowing the network to settle down. I also had to change the bandwidth to 40MHz to stabilise the connection.I made my own mounting pole from 40mm PVC tubing that’s usually used for domestic plumbing and threaded the Ethernet cable through the tube. The pole extends above the antennas to provide protection from birds.I purchased the device to provide a signal to my 2 Tapo TC82 solar cameras but have found that lots of other devices located within the property have also connected.

Use for outdoor wifi extender and works well. Fairly easy to set up and my security cameras pick it up so job done

Ok but not great
Decent enough difficult to set up, keep having to remove from the lan sockets in the router as affects all the other WiFi connected devices.
