So far so good..... the tits found it within the hour - although I'm convinced it's the same greedy and possessive tit that visits it each time. First of all we attached it on an east facing window, and maybe I didn't press the sucker things hard enough, or maybe the two pigeons that hang around all the places where I put bird seed, landed on it - but it fell off. Anyway, it's now on a south facing window of our tiny conservatory, and I trust word will get round to other bird species. I really want the robin to find it, if he's allowed to.The only reason I didn't give five stars is the packaging. When it arrived, the box was open, UNSEALED. I was convinced someone had taken something at first, but both parts of the feeder were there. Amazing that they hadn't fallen out en route.

This is not a bad product but really no use if a squirrel can get anywhere near it.I started off with mine on a kitchen window, but soon enough a squirrel was sitting on it, and eventually the hooks gave way and the item fell to the ground.Then I moved it to another location on a French window.I mounted a ferocious row of anti-pigeon spikes on top, but to no avail.The squirrels kept jumping at it, spilling the contents or knocking the tray off.Eventually the plastic pins that hold the tray onto the top section broke and the item was then put in the bin.That said, it did attract a few tits quite quickly.I guess if you have a window, maybe on a tower block, to which the squirrels would have no access, then it would be fine, but on a ground floor window it's really not squirrel proof, and not robust enough to stand up to being jumped on or at.

The media could not be loaded.  My girlfriend wanted this for the window next to her desk while working from home. We were a bit worried as we live on the 3rd floor of a block of flats that it might not get found, as well as my girlfriend being sat next to it for 8 hours a day.It took a week but we now have a regular visitor (we call him Angry Dave, the bird's face in the second picture confirms why!)I'm now seriously considering getting a camera pointed at the feeder 24/7 so we can see who else visits!

I have never had luck with bird feeders due to cats and can't have trees in my small garden and the birds just weren't interested. I just have concrete and shrubs and I really want wildlife to come although we do have housemartins.Years I have tried to find something safe and practical. How brilliant this feeder is! We have so many sparrows nesting in our street and within a day they found this. We have stuck it on our bay window at the front ,with mealworms and wild bird seed the birds seem happy. Easy to clean and unclip. I have read reviews of there being no sides but I think that must be put together wrongly , I believe the flat bit to be the roof unless someone can correct me on that. I will be buying more if I can find another suitable window where the cats can't jump up or the birds won't wake us too early. It's really uplifting to see them. Would be a great gift.

I was a little sceptical about whether the birds would actually use this, or whether they would be too afraid to come so close to the house. However at times the birds jostle for space. We have it on a window where there are various other feeders, so there are lots of birds around, but it certainly gets used well. The only slight problem can be that sometimes the birds land so heavily it falls off the window. This is the second one we have had, but it's been in use a couple of years and is going strong...

Liked the 4 suckers which support the feeder very strongly.The rubber grips on the edges are good for the birds feed.Wish it could have had drainage holes in the base , so any rain water could drain through.

Really good suction to the window wanted to adjust the place where i had it originally and had to use a flat head screw driver to get them off, added a little security to the bird feeder by tying some fishing line to the window runner just incase it does come off as my window is a little high and dont want it to break should it ever come off as it does get windy from off the coast so that will be a big test, great product over all would recommend for a gift and for any bird lover!
