These are comfy as heck and seem to be sturdy enough for camping or hiking. I'm not fond of zip-off pantleg shorts, but these are fine. They run a bit large. I had to order a size down as they were out of mine, but the waste is just fine. They run a little long, though, and I walk on the hem unless I'm in thick enough shoes. I'm actually amazed at how well they fit above the knees, though, really really comfortable and breathable and flexible. It's almost like wearing pajamas.

I’m 6’1”, and wear a 34x34 pant. I ordered a large and they fit snug on the waist. The waist has some elasticity so they can expand as necessary. The belt clip is plastic and feels super cheap. I’ll probably use my own belt so I can hook my camera clip to it safely.The pants come down to the tops of my feet so if I were to sit or raise the leg they would be high waters. But Amazon doesn’t sell a lot of big and tall hiking pants in this price range you can get in a pinch (needed them overnight). The material is thin and will definitely wick moisture.

So i ordered these pants, after a miserable summer of dealing with swamp a**. I work full time as an EMT, and the summers can get really hot. Traditional EMS pants tend to be thick and stiff. These help me stay cool, as well has having the flexibility needed, to get down on a patients level. I work in a town that runs along the Appalachian trail, so i do a good 20-30 train rescues a summer. They have gotten caught on branches, logs, rocks and what ever else you can think of that grows in the woods, and are still in prefect condition. Not to mention they are not expensive at all. Which on an EMTs salary as I'm sure you know is a definite plus lol. I would 100% recommend these pants to other EMTs and already have!

My son wore these when he traveled to Alaska. They were waterproof but not to warm to hike it. Breathable material.

This is a great pair of pants. They are lightweight, appear to be well-made, include a belt, have plenty of pockets and zipper spaces, and are very comfortable.

Material as expected in the price tag but the length runs a little too long in comparison to the FreeSoldier equivalent.
