Fierce handy
Does the job for holding clothes together instead a safety pin. Holds strongly for such a small fastener

This has made my life easier.
I love sewing and arts and crafts but have struggled with it lately due to the early onset of Arthritis. We brought a caravan last year that was new to us but needed just a little updating, and I also wanted to put my stamp on it to really make it mine. I managed new curtains as this was easy for me on the sewing machine but once finished I really wanted to tackle the upholstery but knew that managing the pins for this job would be difficult for me. Then I saw this little gadget come up on a deal page I follow, so I thought I would give it a go. It has been a game changer for me. Instead of fiddling with pins, I can quickly tack things in place with this so it is held ready for me to machine. I have never done upholstery before but so far I am pleased with the results. I still have a lot to do but thanks to this little guy I have confidence in myself to be able to complete it. I’m putting before and after pics on to show my work. Get one of these tools if you are into sewing, and also it came in handy for a quick repair of an open seam while we were away. Saved the day.

Working OK but the plastic that holds the needle seems very fragile
Had trouble with this the first time I used it because the needle got stuck to the garment, but I now know that was because the needle lock wasn't in the correct position. However, the green plastic that holds the needle looks like it is chipped from one end, only after my very first use of the tool (pictures). Not sure if this is what it's supposed to look like but it seems fragile.Giving 4 stars because with the needle lock in place, it seems to be working well on my second use of it.Hope this lasts as I bought this hoping it will be more durable than less expensive options...

Invaluable little tool
Actually bought this because I lost my first one, to help when making some curtains. It is a great alternative to pins for temporarily holding fabric in place. What I love about this is how easy it is to attach things, just push the needle through the fabric and pull the trigger. One thing to watch out for though, if there aren't enough layers of fabric, there can be a little movement and if there are too many layers, it can be difficult to cut them off afterwards.

Missing Part and Didn't Work.
I bought this MicroStitch Avery Tool for my wife as a Christmas stocking filler but when she came to use it for the first time yesterday it was found to have the needle guard missing and the needle lock didn't do anything. When she tried to use it as intended it failed to insert a micro-stitch through the material. We then both tried to get it to work on a plain cotton handkerchief but all it did was crumple the strip of little tags up. We simply couldn't get the thing to work. Ours arrived in an unsealed cardboard box, not the blister pack as shown. I don't know if we'd been sent a faulty one or a fake but, it's been returned and a refund has been issued. Very disappointing and I now see that the price has increased by £10 so, I definitely won't be buying another.

One hit wonder
Used a few times to a resonable standard.Howver the loading of the tags as problematic and the machine broke in half.I had not used it much but had it a couple of months so i binned itBetter quality ones may be better.
