Not the Easiest Thing to Assemble, But Final Product is a ~B-
DELIVERY: Delivered on time (although it was a bit strange because it didn't ship for days and then shipped the day before it was delivered).PACKAGING: Incredibly well packaged. Very sturdy Styrofoam (not the kind that crumbles when you look at it) that I'm almost reluctant to toss away because I want to figure out if I can repurpose it first. Honestly amazed everything fit into that one box (which also means that once things come out of the box, they're never going back in--which, in turn, means a return isn't a real option once that box is opened). The legs are in a separate smaller cardboard box inside the bigger one, and the smaller box is literally one of the parts that helps with the support for the tabletop during construction. Pretty ingenious.COLOR: I thought from the pictures it was a sort of warm soft woody brown, but the actual color is a bit more of an ashy gray-brown. Still quite nice looking, but if you're paying extra for the aesthetics, then just know that the color temperature isn't quite what you may see on the screen.ASSEMBLY: (1) The instructions are fairly easy to understand but not perfect (they're entirely pictorial with no words so occasionally a bit hard to decipher nuance). My major caveat here is that they don't always indicate that a part has a top and bottom. Namely, Part F has a top and bottom, and I didn't find out that it was on wrong until the desk was 80% assembled, and I could unassemble it because, (2) while the parts are generally pretty sturdy, the screws are not to be trusted-- they strip if you look at them wrong, so you better triple check your part is on correctly because once a part is on, it's ON. I spent over an hour talking to Amazon for a fix to absolutely no avail (so if you think the Amazon product service troubleshooting will help, take that with a grain of salt), but as soon as I emailed the seller, they handled it. Also, (3) the desk comes with the screwdriver and allen wrench you need to put it together, and it can be done with just one person. BUT, it will take forever. I don't know which savant reviewer said they put the desk together in a half hour, but it took me something closer to five hours. And I wouldn't trust a drill to expedite the process-- I tried for approximately two screws, but, per #2, they strip so easily that I really didn't trust it. Which means I got to drill all the holes into wood with a screwdriver--and develop a blister for my effort. (If you get a desk with less drawers and risers, it would take probably half the time and effort to complete.) I did finally put the desk together, and it's passably sturdy even with Part F on there wrong, but I am taking that with a grain of salt given the three things noted above and that (4) the tabletop is two separate leaves of wood held together primarily by a few wooden pegs and holes, which makes me a little concerned with how strongly they're joined together. Finally, (5) almost all of the holes line up, which makes it fairly easy to slot everything together, but the piece that forms the back of the desk riser is a little off, so it's a bit of a struggle to put together by yourself and takes some contortion and creative clamping and screwing to get it in place.CUSTOMER SERVICE: Another reiteration from above that the seller's customer service is great.MISC:-For anyone else who also felt stupid for asking this, the power to the standing part of the desk comes from being plugged into the outlet, and the plug is a bit oversized, so you'll almost certainly need to get an outlet extender for your devices charger, monitor, etc. because just the two-plug outlet might be taken up by the desk plug.-Those hooks on the sides look pretty flimsy; I wouldn't trust them with any kind of significant weight. They looked metal in the pictures, but they're a pretty weak-looking plastic held in with two very small screws.-The electronic raise/lower buttons and apparatus work pretty well and quietly. Desk seems to go up and down just fine, and the height settings work and are easy to control. Alleged anti-collision tech TBD.-There are conflicting details in the picture if the desk depth is 24 or 25, but it looks like it's actually 25 inches.

Maybe it’s a lemon?
The product arrived about 4 days late after not shipping on time. I get that it was a sold out lightening deal and it’s heavy, but it’s Amazon, so the timeliness is expected. When putting it together, several holes were not drilled to the proper size, either too big or too small. We immediately considered either requesting the pieces with the wrong sized holes (one had the motor attached) or repacking and sending it back. I had recently gotten another desk for my husband and we had spare parts so we decided to try slightly longer and fatter screws and it seemed to do the job. However, now I am concerned that one day, I’ll be raising or lowering my desk and it will fall apart. When the top of the desk was put together, there were several places that the veneer was cracked, broken, or coming off the mdf. Also, can be fixed with gorilla glue but why should I have to repair a new piece of furniture? Is it a manufacturing issue or a shipping one, I don’t know but, the box did arrive looking beat up and sad. Inside though, things seemed to be nearly in their foam. Except for the wrong hole size, it was pretty easy to assemble in about 2 hours for one person. The drawers that sit on the desk are not really drawers because they don’t have rails. They just fit in to the spots so it feels cheap. The bottom drawer is low enough that at 27” a chair with arms doesn’t fit underneath—but lo, it’s a standing desk, so I just raise it to 31” when I’m done to tuck my chair under. The raising mechanism seems to work just fine. The monitor shelf is big enough for my curved 32” monitor and 13” laptop. I do wish the cord was longer. The way my office is laid out, I need to send the cord to the left side of the desk and because that takes up 55”, I need an extension cord to reach the socket. The looks are okay. You get what you pay for with the veneer look. At this price point, as long as the mechanism works, I can live with the other stuff.

Damaged but nice..
I bought this desk to improve my work from home life and posture, I’ve had this saved for sometime before making the purchase.Pros: The color is as pictured, nice style, lots of work space, instructions were easy to follow, motor runs smoothly, the raised area is a nice addition for my monitors, came with extra pieces just in case as well as a screwdriver which was nice.Cons: 2 pieces came damaged in the box and unfortunately can be seen (figured it would be hidden so continued to put it together anyway), it’s not super sturdy in the middle so I feel like I can’t rest my elbow or lean on it with my arm while standing or sitting without feeling like it’s too weak, the 2 drawers on top are not actual drawers (like a metal box you can slide back and forth to act as storage), having a bit of trouble trying to save my settings, when screwing the wood/overlay cracks a bit.All in all I am satisfied with the purchase (just happy to have a standing desk), I didn’t feel like going through the hassle to take it back apart and return or replace it honestly or I would’ve due to the damage. It only gave the option to return or replace when I chatted with customer service also…Initially I thought the price was fair after shopping around and comparing but now I feel it’s a bit overpriced. I do wish there was a place to hide the wires but I bought additional items for that.

3 screens, no problem!
I have had this a couple months now and I still love it! I stand up at least once a day and have had no issues with the motor, it also fits my laptop and 2 screens and all the other junk I have on my desk!

Need better identification on which screws to use for attaching which part.
Other than the instructions needing clearer identification, this unit is definitely a value! Using it in my office, and storage is great for the essentials. Today I'll be finishing and testing the electronic height adjustment...might need a follow-up review!
