Arrived in good condition nothing missing or damaged.Shipped way faster than estimated shipping time. Seems pretty durable overall. The only thing I didn't care for was the whistle, cannot really hear it at all so will have to get another one of those. The light is not super bright but would do in a pinch. I did like how it had the SOS and alpine signaling stamped on it. The compass appears to point true but will need to further test it. Overall not a bad thing to have around if you are ever in need.

GOOD: Most of the item works as described. The light works well, the striker is easy to use and the magnesium pellet is a pretty good size. The compass seems to work fine.BAD: The "small" mirror is tiny and inset, so it's hard to get a good reflection off of it for signalling. The ruler/scale is pretty small and useless. The whistle doesn't work at all.Overall, you get what you pay for. You buy cheap, you get cheap.
