Great models at a really good value price (By Warhammer standards at least), the images shown for the product are terrible looking but this seems down to the very poor paint job (I'll get to that) the actual models themselves while not as poseable and lacking options look really nice with decent detailing but are older era models (as mentioned in another review)As for the paints; bin them they're worthless, the glue isn't much better and the brush is okay. The poor quality of the paints is likely why the models look so terrible in the pictures assuming the boxed paint was used, either way they are not painted to the same standard as most advertised workshop products. This is likley due to it being a exclusive to certain retail shops and not being supplied by 1st party workshop shops period.

Revell GmbH Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Heavy Assault Build and Paint Set.
First of they are push fit minis easy to assemble, the terminators are very cool looking 1995 Space hulk Era Models,And the large walker dreadnought with twin heavy flamer & powerclaw with twin linked boltguns, equally easy to assemble, also comes with an ammo dump from the Game workshop battlefield accessories set just without the barrels & tank traps,as for the paints there ok nothing special they are not citadel quality and you are much better off buying them to paint these, the paintbrush is okay quality though, also comes with a little paper battlemat that would be good if it wasn't for the unit placements marked out on it then it would be more usable without. If you are a fan of older games workshop minis this is a good buy.

Excellent value
A dreadnought and a whole terminator squad for £11.99? You’d be mad not to.And don’t be fooled, it isn’t a terminator captain. It’s clearly just the squad sergeant.

Worth a go!
Nice little boxed set. Yes, the miniatures are older casts, but still usable for collection or gaming. A decent way of adding some fire power to a Space Marine army for less money than you would normally expect to pay.As mentioned in a previous review. Brush is decent but bin the paints.

These look ok for plastic plastic replicas?, I have some of the original Metal cast terminators (SPW Wolf Guard) still unpainted and the level of detail is not close sorry on these plastic versions, there are no holes in the storm bolter barrels etc.

Cheap Rubbish. Don't Waste Your Money.
I used to be into Warhammer as a kid about 15 years ago and used to love to painting the figures more than anything. The figures used to be a solid grey plastic and the paints were very good quality and this allowed you to get real detail. This set is cheap. Very cheap. The figures are cheap plastic and need to be pushed apart, which means you get rouch edges that need sanding down. This is impossible to do without losing some of the detail of the model. The figures are now a blue plastic and the kit doesn't come with blue paint so I'm guessing you don't have to paint the actual figure and just leave it the blue plastic colour. That's fine but that's not what has been done with the figures on the box. These are a very different blue. The paints are watery, very watery. Even after a good shake. This means that when you're trying to paint the eyes, it runs all down the face. Impossible to get good detail.I thought this kit would be amazing and allow me to relive my childhood for an afternoon but in the last 20 years the quality has taken a massive dip. I wouldn't waste your money on this. Maybe if you go into a GW shop you'll get better quality but this kit is a waste of money and time.

Blue Plastic, Good Value
I had fun putting these together and painting them. I appreciated that they were cast in blue plastic, allowing me to be lazy and paint them Ultramarine colors without priming or doing a base coat. These are older models that are a little less dynamic and detailed than the new ones, but I used to paint the old ones and so liked the throwback feeling. Aside from that, good luck finding a better deal on Space Marines than this other than maybe some of the larger force and army boxes, so nice value.

Good solid block of points for a marine army.
Good solid chunk of points for a marine army. The dread does not have a smoke launcher, that sucks. I have heard the weapons on a marine venerable dreadnought can be used on this so if you have one you could use some of its weapons on it. The terminators are solid, too bad they come with a flamer instead of an assault cannon. Worth it for 40k marine players.

Good set, but be aware of base sizes!
A good set if you need a terminator squad and a dreadnought. The only issue is the lack of weapon customization for both terminators and the dreadnought. Note that the terminators only have 25mm bases, which means you need to get 40mm bases to make them "legal". Also the 25mm bases almost seem too small for these models. A good addition if your adding to a battle for vedros set, though.
