Mack's Ultra Ear Plugs 7 pairs with free travel case - Beige

Earplug effectiveness is totally subjective, so I'd recommend buying a 'variety pack' before getting one type in bulk. I did that and tried ~30 different earplugs, of different types (foam, rubber, wax, different shapes etc) and different brands, and found that these were the most comfortable and effective of all of them. I've been using them exclusively for the past 5 years now. I use them for motorcycling; I can wear them for hours at a time, and they block out just the right amount of noise that I can still be aware of what's going on around me but don't have tinnitus! The few times I make a short journey without them, I can really tell the difference, and wish I bought them along.As I say though, this is totally subjective, so should be taken with a pinch of salt (as should the one other review which gave one star!).

As a lifelong insomniac/light sleeper, I married the perfect man six years ago....apart from his snoring. I've heard some loud snorers in my time, but they've got nothing on my husband. I've tried so many ear plugs, they just don't work. I tried these....and actually slept. Yes he was there, yes he was asleep and yes he was snoring like a congested warthog....and yes....I could still hear him.....but he sounded like a purring cat. I love the little metal canister which keeps these reusable ear plugs clean. I also use them during the day as I need a couple of hours midday die to my health condition but I live on a boat on a busy canal, there are always noisy boats going pastand diesel generators running, I can't hear them with these ear plugs in. I will be ordering more of these, again and again.....I recommend them to anyone who wants a comfortable night's sleep without snoring, noisy neighbours or diesel generators.

Took a while for these to adjust and work for me. It can at times be uncomfortable to use, but I am allergic to silicone so this is the best alternative for now.

My husband always falls asleep before me and he SNORES! I prefer these to having to leave the room, they are very effective to the point I can barely hear the snoring. Great stuff!

So when I was travelling & needed these maybe once a week they had been perfect even as a side sleeper, but recently in a more noisy environment & needing to use daily they started to hurt after a few days. I've switched to the slim purple ones & reluctantly even tried the pink "girl" ones.. Not as good on the sound blocking but far far more comfortable for long term use.Ofc this varies person to person, get a few samples of any size before getting a 50 pair tub!Found this latest pack pick up dirt & get gritty very easily & also scrunch up less to go back in the ear even after one use. I know they ARE disposable but I used to be able to get 2 or 3 uses out of a pair when kept in the little carry case before they'd get hard or dirty.Far more comfortable for side sleepers than the orange flat edge brand or the yellow/pink rocket shaped brand

Great product, they have changed my life! I’ve always been such a light sleeper and any small noise or snoring kept me awake but I can’t hear anything now with these ear plugs. Great for using when studying or reading aswell to block out noise.

I should qualify the title of this review by saying that if you have narrow ear canals and have had trouble wearing other types of earplug then these might just work for you, as they are quite narrow and very soft. I have found them to be utterly useless, however, as they hardly block out any noise at all. The best that could be said about these is that they are very comfortable to wear, but then so is not wearing them, and the level of noise perception is about the same in both instances. I am now the proud owner of a box of 29 pairs of the wretched things. Earfit and even Tesco own brand earplugs are infinitely superior to these, so don't be taken in by the 'ultra noise blocker' strapline on the box, avoid them like the plague.
