The reach of the beam depends on a number of conditions (such as time of day) but the maximum distance is just under 5000 ft.

It does flash which is a great warning lite however if you watch it , it is actually flashing SOS in Morris code

Q: Can you run 2 lights at the same time with both having separate controls or is there an issue like the go lights that they turn on everythingg

This issue was tested and we found that one remote controls one light—the remote is synced to its unit and will only control the unit it is synced to.
