Excellent little hoover, great suction that most of these handheld don’t have, I have a cat & it cleans up his hair great, also use on couches and for cleaning out my car or any small jobs , good long battery charge life, it’s small so storage requirements are minimal, great accessories, the long spout I use mostly as it better targets areas, you also get a carpet brush and extra filter & sleeve, good value for money

Battery life is enough to vacuum a Ford focus. Takes a while to recharge but not a problem if you don't have a large area to vacuum. It's easy to empty and clean, also you can see how full it is. It's not heavy to use and does a good job. Don't expect the level of a Shark or Dyson but then it doesn't cost anywhere as much. For the price, it is a good tool. Would give 5* except for the charging time. 4 and a half but don't have that option. Yes I am happy to recommend it.

This seller is amazing!!I bought this handheld from them, but after 2 months, the performance of it was not good, virtually no suction...so I wasn't happy at all.The seller contacted me to apologize for this and also offered an upgraded version...which actually arrived yesterday!After charging it fully, it works a lot better. New features being battery indicator, led light (which is only really useful in dark areas, in light areas it doesn't really help much) and it's got a slightly better suction on it.I used it to vacuum up my kids hamster bedding (which this listed one could not) and it did this absolutely fine, among other things.I still don't have a good opinion of this listed handheld (I believe in being honest) but their upgraded one is much better.I particularly like the battery indicator, as this alerts you to when it's getting low!But what impressed me most, is that this seller genuinely cares that customers like their products and wants them to be satisfied...this earns them 5 stars!!

The VL189 is a good hand held vacuum. Very useful for doing stairs and landing, also the kitchen and bathrooms. The suction is very good, I can clean my car inside and the boot when it fully charged.Comes with useful a spare filter and attachments to get into nooks and crannies. My wife loves it which is good news. A very good purchase.

There are a huge number of hand-held vacuum cleaners in the sub-£50 price bracket and it is difficult to make a choice. I selected this one based on the description and the reviews, and I was not disappointed. It is light, less than 500g, has good suction (I live in a bungalow so can't comment on its use for stairs but there's no reason it shouldn't be fine), and it has a bright light for dark spaces. Also, one of its accessories is a long clear tube which I leave on all the time. Not only does it help in picking up debris but it saves me bending down as much as I had to do with previous cleaners that didn't have this. If there is one thing that I would have liked it's a wall-mounting kit but it seems that most cleaners now do not include this. As this seems to be the norm now, I didn't deduct a star. A great piece of kit.
