I purchased this self-defense spray for my wife in Nov 2022.. I've had to encourage her to carry it daily so she does. leaving an appt walking through the parking garage a stalker followed closely she reached the car turned and ordered this creep to halt, he did not and she used this self-defense spray to stop him immediately and watched him run gasping for air, this stuff worked it is outstanding.

If you thinking of buy great product had to use in real life situation today a guy was beating him mom I went to break it up and the 2 guys witch are brothers tried to jump me tried entering my home I warned them one tripped me so they had enough in seconds and the bigger wider stream this spray has is great cause in real life situation u only got a split second to aim this make it so you just have to point in general direction and still hit the mark with a heavy stream I pressed button for around 2 seconds and half the bottom was already on the aggressor it will make there skin feel like it's on fire if it just contacts skin so you don't necessarily need to hit them in the eyes if you get enough on the skin with in few seconds there skin feels like it's on Fire but this is a very useful tool to protect you and your family I do got video of after words but idk if Amazon want me to post it so I'm not going to

Pros: Shoots several feet with only a partial trigger pull, wide dispersion of plume, just a sniff of a stale scent cleared out my sinuses.Cons: Safety pin falls out on its own after the blue plastic guard is severed. So, you either carry scissors in case of emergency or tape the pin like I did. Not much product remains after a few full triggers. Large, somewhat awkward container cannot be used as EDC. Some liquid poured down front of the can during use, so you better wash your hands after each use.Context: I have several types of pepper sprays. I keep a small one on my key chain, a larger one is available for walking near problem dogs and I have other military grade pepper sprays and bear sprays in my home. I ordered this spray because it offers the advantages of a long (advertised) 35 foot range, yet it also offers the 10% strength for defense against people. Let me be clear, this item looks like a bear spray, and we know that bear sprays do spray for up to 20 or 30 feet. However, bear sprays are actually WEAKER than sprays intended for protection against people. So, this spray advertises the 'best of both worlds', long distance and highly concentrated.Experience: Unlike the break-away tabs on fire extinguishers, the trigger guard on this item needs to be cut with scissors or a utility knife before use. So, the first thing I did was to remove the tab, as I do not want to be searching for scissors in an emergency! After removing the plastic tab, the remaining trigger pin simply fell out, offering almost no protection against accidental trigger. So, after using the spray, I had to apply tape all around the pin and handle to hold the pin in place so I can avoid accidentally triggering! For my first spray I aimed at a cardboard box 5 feet away from me, and with the wind at my back. I used only a 1/4 pull on the trigger and it sprayed out in a wide plume that seemed to somehow diffuse before it could make it to the box. So, I squeezed the trigger a little harder (about half way) on the second spray and a generous plume was created about 6-8 feet away. I found that to be impressive for a partial trigger. I decided not to give it a full trigger release because the volume from the first two sprays decreased the remaining volume noticeably. I can imagine just a few full sprays would deplete the bottle, especially with such a wide plume. As far as the potency goes, I allowed the spray to sit for 5 minutes and then sniffed the general vicinity on the cardboard box. I did not smell anything at first, however, my sinuses started clearing and my throat and nose were burning as if I had devoured a concentrated wasabi sauce. So, I had no worries regarding the potency. After the few test sprays, I taped up the safety trigger pin and placed the can in area where I might be able to use it if needed. Overall, I like the product at the current sales price of $30, and I would buy it again.

I bought the 2-pack after my friend was bitten by a stray dog while picking up litter in her neighborhood. The second can will be in the RV, for when we camp or go for a hike. Just in case...

I feel a lot better having these on the wall by the front and back doors. I 3D printed holders and hung them up.A lot higher capacity than those little pocket sprays, so you don't run out after a couple of sprays.

Should be recalled as it nearly killed my mother. After less than 4mo, the bottom of the can sprung a tiny leak while sitting untouched on my widowed 75yo mother’s bed side table. She woke to burning, respiratory distress and cardiac problems. Fire department and hazmat crew identified the defective can. The spray ruined the linens, pillows, mattress, wall paint, and ate through the finish on the bedside table. The bedroom required damage restoration services as standing in the vicinity burned mucus membranes even days later. ITS CAN CANNOT WITHSTAND THE PRESSURE. FIND ANOTHER PRODUCT.
