Simple, practicle and interesting to note the amount of rain we have. we've put a fine stick in ours after finding a bee had been blown into it and drowned; they can now climb out!

Easy to use
I found I'd bought two by mistake, so gave one to my grandchildren, who live five,miles away.It's interesting to compare rainfall in the two gardens.We live in Northeast Kent, which is a bit of a desert. In Midsummer the gauge tends to dry up.

A useful tool for the amateur weatherman
I was somewhat surprised by the clarity of the glass collecting vessel which makes the instrument vey easy to read. The supporting frame seemed rather flimsy but does the job quite well.

Useful and simple weather gadget
Does its job - measures rainfall with an easy to read scale in metric & imperial. The metal spigot holder save a lot of bending.

Well made
My granddaughters love it, even if they fill it from the watering can. Well made and easy to read as the bowl is about 18 inches above ground after fixing.
