WARNING ! - I bought this 800A Power Bank/Charger as a gift for Christmas. However, it was used for the first time yesterday and the cables melted. The whole thing started smoking and the car charging leads melted. To make matters worse, there is no way to contact Penton for service. This is a dangerous product, with no support from the maker. I will turn this over to our State Fire Marshall’s Office for a report and to be added to the national database of hazardous products. Dangerous Product !

Have had it for approx. 1 year....good to jump-start 4 Cyl. Stratus & Malibu. Only weakness I can see is that if the Penton-charger-battery is left to run very low, the recharging becomes super-slow (many hours, more than 1 day sometimes) and never has gone up over 82% charge for whatever reason...doubt the Mfr intended that. To late to exchange, meanwhile works OK & who knows why this happens.Love the portability & alternate use to charge cell/Ipad etc.

just got this item. i'm sure it works fine but i have some questions on variables. the manual looks like it is in english. no way...it needs to be rewritten and deciphered. there is no web site, address or phone numbers for tech help on questions. first question...is the main switch supposed to be on or off when charging. second question...when using the usb ports does the output voltage of those ports change when you change the output voltage of the power supply for the laptop and is it dangerous to the items being charged on those usb ports?

This battery jumper has saved me a lot of frustration more times than I can count. These put jumper cables to shame. You don't have to bother anyone for a jump. You don't have to wait for a tow truck to come along to give you a jump. Ladies, if you have a problem with your battery, this battery jumper is easy to use and keeps you from dealing and depending on someone else to help you out! I can't say enough good things about it.

Will start anything I own works great. I use it mostly to start my motorcycle that is the hardest thing to start I bought a smaller one to start the motorcycle, but had to get this one. The clamp was broken when I opened it up. Since I am using it for the motorcycle I don't need the clamp. I bought the adapterfor the motorcycle battery.

The product may be fine. I purchased this trough Amazon warehouse deals and the flashlight does not work. It's a pain sending it back and I guess I saved enough money that I can just buy a flashlight to put in the case (nice case by the way). I will update after I use it to start my truck. Should be soon, the battery is no good:)

Already used this to jumpstart a totally dead 2000 Dodge Durango battery and a totally dead 1999 Mazda 626 battery. Started both on the first key turn. Great little item to own to help make life a little easier.

the best jump starter i've seen yet. Holds a charge for a long time without having to recharge. Severe cold seems to make it drop from 100% to 94%, but still jumps my truck off with plenty of juice to spare.
