Outstanding quality
Outstanding quality. All surfaces smooth and so comfortable to hold. Nice big handle, nicely weighted - not light or thin or cheap feeling. Definitely looks and feels like a knife costing 3 times as much. Sharp blade. I'm looking forward to years of enjoyable use. FYI: I personally like a chef's knife that's shorter, and this 6" blade fits the bill. It's very comfortable and easy to use.

Good quality for price. Keep in holder, it's sharp.
Holds up well, dry it soon after washing. Sharp, a better slicer than chopper. Comes in a plastic form-fitting tray.

A great price on what seems like a high quality, durable knife.
This seems surprisingly high quality for the price. It's got a nice balance.I'm a big fan of shorter chef knife for a lot of use as it really gives the amount of rocking motion I like. This is curved nicely for that purpose. Bought this to have at home of a relative I visit often. I didn't want to spend $150 for the Lamson 6" chef I use at my home, since I knew it would only see use during my visits. I was really surprised by the quality.ADDED NOTE: After only moderate use and running through the dishwasher perhaps 6 or 8 times, one of the rivets is coming out. a bit Not ideal having the rough edge of a rivet protruding, though no sign the handle is coming apart... I assume the rivets are likely just decorative. I'm only deducting one star because this might be a problem that was caused by the dishwasher, and it does say to handwash only. Though a knife like this not having a wood handle, should be dishwasher friendly in my opinion. The knife does hold sharpness well and other than the rivet I've really enjoyed using it.Seems the listing for this product is now for an 8" version. The quality comments likely still apply.

Great after 1 day
I've only had it for one day. It is sharp, well-balanced and beautiful. The handle feels really nice in my hand. I like the shape and it also just FEELS like good quality. It cuts like a dream. It is a wider blade than the one I am replacing, but that feels like a good thing when I'm cutting vegetables. I use much less pressure with this knife.... AND.... It passes the paper test.

Wonderful knife! Daily prep knife! Strong, well engineered, solid, quality, perfect balance!
I read some of the negative reviews and wonder if people used their knives to pry nails out of wood pallets and then left their knives outside to rust. My experience is this is a quality engineered, manufactured, and finished knife that now is my daily prep knife at every meal and food prep event. Wonderful... and for the money, amazing? I'm gonna buy a half dozen for the holiday gift giving season for friends and family. I live a Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle and utilize this knife for slicing, chopping, and dicing at every meal, every day! WONDERFUL KNIFE!

Good value, a little too sponge bob on the handle.
Very well constructed. Sharp edge. Handle is a bit to squarish. More oval would help, but wife says it is good for her. It has a deliberate grip, so it does not feel it will slip. Great price. The blade thickness is just fine. I would buy it again. Would like to see a NAKIRI style knife in this knife line. A 6.5 or better yet a 6 inch blade for the quick smaller kitchen chopping job. A bigger knife is many times overkill. The Nakiri model keeps most of the blade near the surface, assuring a full cut to cutting board.

This knife is sharp
Excellent knife. Weighted just right. Nice grip, and, of course, sharp. This replaced a knife I've been using for over 40 years, and whoa what a difference in sharpness!

Good enough for the money but don't expect the performance of a Wusthof!
For the low price & design (VERY similar to Wusthof's Classic chef knife) this knife is definitely serviceable. The weight, balance & overall feel of this knife is comparable to the much more expensive Wüsthof. BUT: I'm leaving this review after using the knife for 9 months, on a morning when I pulled it out to slice pork ribs and noticed pitting up & down the blade ☹️.This knife has NEVER been in the dishwasher. It has always been hand washed and put away carefully. But over the nine months I've been using it, I've noticed that it does not maintain its sharpness and has needed sharpening much more frequently than my Wusthof Classic chef's knife (as you would expect ).The quality of the blade is OK - but if you need a knife that will stand up to heavy duty use, that maintains its edge and is crafted of a very high-quality material, consider investing in a higher quality knife.
