Vinara Wine Bottle Stopper Saver Vacuum Pump Sealer for Air Tight Wine Storage

Great concept. Removes all the air from the bottle so that you can keep the wine longer if you don't finish the entire bottle. The product is well built. I've had for 3 months now and used it to recork about 10 bottles. No issues. Looks brand new like day 1. The only reason for a 4 star is that it takes too many pumps to get a good seal. Takes about 120 pumps for a half bottle and more if you have less than a half bottle. The saving grace is that it is quick. Takes about 30 seconds to pump 120 times. The great thing is that after 120 pumps, then I can keep the open bottle for another month or more if I want to. Good product overall. Does exactly what is was intended--to extend the life of an opened bottle of wine.

It works!It fits in the bottle and definitely keeps my wine fresher and longer lasting.Only pitfall....The stopper sticks up a lot, even when it's pushed into the bottle. It adds almost an extra 2" to the top of the bottle, which can make it odd to fit into the fridge. I don't use this stopper for anything besides a typical wine bottle but I imagine that there wouldn't be much excess on top if the bottle was bigger and fit lower into the bottle.Otherwise, this was a great purchase!

Item arrived on time as promised and in good/new condition. Its very light weight and basic. Haven used other wine stoppers, I would rate this one a 6 on a 10 point scale. It requires a lot of pumps in order to preserve any left over wine. My only negative comment is that as you pump the device the pressure sensation is very light making it difficult to know if you have pumped out enough air from the bottle.

I works well, only there is not any indicator that you should stop pumping. First time i used it i couldn't remove it from the bottle. I guess i pumped to much or pushed it down to far into the neck of the bottle. It works as intended however.

Works as advertised by aerating the wine as it pours through. While I'm not entirely convinced that this aeration process make the wine taste noticeably better, the aeration process works as advertised.

It would be nice to have some sort of marker/identifier to figure out when all the air is out. Does the job but you need to pump plenty.

This is a handy little stopper device that pumps the air out of the bottle keeping the wine fresh. To make it work, you pull the top up and down and it pumps the air out of the bottle causing an air tight vacuum. The little instruction sheet tells you how many times to "pump" for how full/empty your opened bottle is.You may have to pump the top 40 to 80 times depending on how much is in the bottle but It isn't hard to do and it really does work. And it just takes an extra minute or so.It's reasonably priced, does what it's supposed to do and I'm really happy with it.

It's too fat for soda bottles!
