Q: Do you think my 100-pound golden retriever would be able to get up in the back seat of a Ford F150 crew cab with this ramp?

Absolutely. My 98 lb. German Shepherd gets into our SUV as well as into the back of my husbands extended cab GMC Truck with this ramp. It takes a little coaching and guidance at first - she was very hesitant to use it the first few times, but now she sees us put it up, and waits at the bottom - we always hold on to her collar because of the angle, just make sure she doesn't walk over the side. Q: Can this work with anold husky on a Subaru outback

I have weimaraners 12 and a 10 years old. Cannot get the older one to go up the ramp at the angle it has to be to get into the car. since they are both still able to jump, I gave up. we practiced lower angles and that worked. the surface has good gripping stuff but mine just balked at the height.

Q: Can this be left outdoors in the rain in Florida?

The rain in Florida is well known for its high moisture content, and unlike the dry rain up north, our rain here is very wet. In other words, I cannot recommend handling live electrical wires while in Florida, under the rain, however you can easily and very cheaply produce several gallons of yogurt in your own kitchen regardless of how wet the rain is that particular day, just don't try Greek yogurt unless you are prepared to handle the excess whey that will be discarded. I hope this answers your question but if not, just use WD-40 and duct tape and you can solve anything but cancer.

Q: How does the ramp hold on to the surface? I'm considering this for the dive platform of my boat so that my dog can get in and out of the water.

the sandpaper surface was too abrasive for my dog's pads, so I put velcro and carpet on it for traction. That wouldn't work in water. Also I have found that the ramp slips around where it's edge rests on the tailgate and I have to hold it steady. This wouldn't work very well for a boat...even more slippery. pick something with good rubber feetPS...edited this post to include saying that if your dog is under 40lbs it should work fine if you attach better rubber grips to the "boat end" of the ramp
