I use a heating pad for my lower back pain. Over the years I've probably tried 20 different heating pads and so far this one puts out the most consistent heat. Other heating pads tend to turn off or lower the heat randomly, but this pad keeps consistent heat for as long as the timer is set. It doesn't get quite as hot as others, but it does the trick. The upside is it doesn't burn me either.I'm a big guy and this pad is large enough to cover my entire lower back. The controls are very easy to learn and after a day of use I can set the heat and timer without looking, which is a plus for that middle of the night pain (though the digital readout is easily read in the dark or light). It heats up quickly, cools down quickly and has 6 levels of heat, compared to most others that only have 3. It's a 2 piece unit, meaning the cord plugs into the pad, but the pad's cover isn't removable. I'm not sure whether or not it's washable.I've been using this heating pad for over a month and so far it's the best I've owned, not to mention the great price.UPDATE: After about 6 months of heavy use, my heating pad quit working yesterday. I received an E1 on the display, but no heat. Definitely not a deal breaker though, as I went to buy this heating pad again because I liked my last one so much and it still had a 20% off coupon. Still the best I've owned so far, especially for the price!

I threw my back out and in desperation, ordered day of shipping to purchase this product. Oh my goodness I can’t even begin to tell you the relief this gave me! It warms up so quickly, has an accessible remote that you can use to change the heat settings, as well as set a timer. It automatically shuts off, which is great for my mom brain that sometimes forgets to turn things off. The pad seems like great quality and has held up after multiple uses. It was super reasonable pricing as well. This is definitely a product I would recommend to anyone who is looking to buy a heating pad.
