L'Oréal Colorista Washout Red Semi-Permanent Hair Dye, 80ml

I love this colour as it looks pretty but also truly washes out without staining my blonde hair. I would say the negative is that there is not much product in there for the price. Consider two boxes if you have long hair and want to dye a full head. It also washes out very quickly, which is good in a way as it won't stain, but the colour is lovely so when you wash your hair often because of exercise, then it will be out quite fast and there is not enough in to redye the hair. But the pink is absolutely beautiful.

It's a good hair color n I have been using Colorista for years, sk the quality was there. However it is a different color than advertised. The dye is purple rather than deep indigo blue as shown, looks like a filter was added tk the picture. I was happy with the result, as I like purple and have used in the past, but if you expect blue, know that you just won't get it.

I’ve used this dye for about 2 years now and always adored the colour! It’s the only indigo I’ve ever found that’s dark enough for what I’m going for. Unfortunately since the formula has changed it’s not the same colour! Even the packaging clearly doesn’t show the same colour result. It’s more of a violet colour than an indigo now.

Followed instructions to a tee....... Hair is the exact same colour!! Appreciate it was only a fiver but I may as well have burned my money!

I brought this product as i am a brunette. The packet shows “Visible on all shades” as well as lasting up to 15 washes. However, i received the product today and it is NOT visible on dark hair shades and is only a Medium wear which did not show on the packet advertised. The packet advertised showed “visible on all hair types”, clearly not all. However, the product is really reliable, doesn’t ruin your hair and is probably the best semi permanent hair dye I’ve purchased. I recommend that if your willing to go for this shade, you have Light Brown/Medium Brown. If you have dark hair, the colour will not show up and this is NOT advertised so it’s a good job i have Medium brown hair. If you have blonde hair, this dye will show a more intense colour and will last longer.

I bought the dirty pink shade hoping it would show on my home coloured medium golden blonde with light blonde faded ends and brown underneath.After a strand test I was happy to see it shows and applied all over the blonde top half.The gloves are very thin so you might want to be careful with long nails.Application was easy, a bit like applying a normal hair mask to dry hair. I needed about two thirds of the tube to get good coverage so if you have long hair and want an all over colour I'd recommend buying 2.Left on for 15 minutes, rinsed with lukewarm water and blow dried my hair. It's very soft and shiny and smells nice.The colour didn't stick to my roots (I expected that since they're less porous) which adds a little of that "undone" messy look.I can't say how long this will stay in before I'll need to reapply but will update my review when I know. Overall I'm happy with the product and would buy it again.The photos show the colour in sunlight and shade. It's slightly less orange than the camera makes it look in the sun.

It didn't show up at all, I've used a few colours from various brands and this is definitely in the bottom few, it's not blue for a start it's purple. And I felt like I just rinsed it all down the drain.Won't be buying again.

I purchased this dye to brighten my red hair that had dulled a lot. I was really surprised at the colour pay off. Its a nice deep magenta red the exact shade i was looking for. Please note that my hair had been pre lightened.The only thing i have to warn anyone thinking of using this shade is that it stains like a MF. It even stained my bathroom sink (and my hands and clothes). So take precautions when using.
