It works for me because I am elderly: the color of my specimen speaks volumes. At one point I thought I spotted bloody urine....turns out tomatoes was the culprit.

It has to be pushed back in order to work, properly which makes it touch my body in order to use it.It still does what I want it to do, which is collecting pee to dump in my compost.
