Not a perfect replica of the toy I had - but safer and fully encapsulates the idea
I love this revival toy so much - it’s a perfect present for my 22 month nephew. Little Snoopy was my favourite toy of my early childhood. Once I was walking I took it everywhere with me - if we went out for a walk, I walked 'my dogs' too. I even took him on holiday: my parental units have 80s snaps of diminutive me walking my Little Snoopy along the seafront at Paignton. Snoopy was even the name of our first proper dog - because I was completely fixed on the one true name for a dog. I owned both Little Snoopy and the bigger Snoopy with articulated legs (my Mum bought him for me whilst she was in labour the day before I was born and my Grandma bought Little Snoopy to go with him when I was a newborn and I adored them both, although Little Snoopy was easier to walk with). I was thrilled to be able to buy Little Snoopy for my youngest nephew, as my original one had survived my three brothers, but not all of my cousins as well. This isn't a completely like-for-like replica of the toy I had and loved. I suspect there are a few influences that affect the changes implemented here: firstly, Little Snoopy went through several revisions - so it wasn't entirely likely that a revival version would completely reflect the specific iteration I had; and secondly, laws surrounding toy safety have changed. My Little Snoopy was made of wood, with paper labels. This version is plastic, and the labels seem to be vinyl but the label designs are identical to my memories so the overall effect is much the same, as are the colours of the wheels and string - and I'm not sure how safe a 1+ year old with a solid lump of wood on the end of a string would have been! Certainly not desirable with younger children around. The tail on this Little Snoopy seems wrong - mine was a spring with a plastic bobble on the end (finger trap and choke test fail!) - but it's a nice little tail that waggles obligingly and seems safer. The pull along string is built in to a hole in Little Snoopy's chest, rather than attached by means of a chunky staple (choking hazard, sharp if pulled out). The wheels don't have metal axles with narrow pin heads poking through (small parts, finger traps, potential eye gougers), and have treads that my Little Snoopy didn't. Meh. For the most part, I can't see any changes that hadn't occurred via evolution of product/aren't sensibly necessitated by differences in safety regulations and understanding of how best to mass produce toys whilst keeping smaller children safe.

Nice as nice quality as original
I remember the ears being made of felt, and it feels a little cheap. But a nice toy none the less.

He's great , exactly what I expected
Bought this to go in a baby hamper box, after all every child needs some classic traditional toys to play with 😃 I love him he's just the same as they were back in the 80s , and I'm sure my future niece or nephew will love him too 😃

Snoopy dog
These were the best thing my children (and some of our so-called adult friends mainly I have to say male) had. This baby Snoopy is pretty good but not quite as good as the original - but I probably would say that as I love him even now !
