Functional and versatile SFP copper transceiver
This transceiver worked great in another switch I purchased from Amazon with a no-name Chinese company. I also used it in media converters (fiber to copper) for connecting directly to my computer. It automatically negotiates the speed and was extremely easy to install. It was also compatible in my Intel X710 network card that runs the network for my server to connect to my coax cable modem. The fact this SFP supports multiple speed options is also great because I connected it to a switch with only 10G but it worked fine connected to a 2.5G copper RJ45 jack without any errors, so it must negotiate and rate limit within itself.

Runs hot
Works like a charm, but very hot. Stayed within the documented temperature range/norms when I checked with my thermal camera so I don't expect any issues. The heat makes me nervous for my kids long term however, so I am using this as a short term stopgap.

Works with Ubiquity Dream Machine Pro
Works great with my Ubiquity Dream Machine Pro. Plugged it in and it just worked. Well worth it for 10 Gbps connection to my switch using CAT 6a patch cable.

Plug-and-Play
These are working great. I have them slotted into a Grandstream switch and there were no issues with it translating my older 1GB network stuff to the 10GB.

Works at the 1.25gb speed only. Great price.
Works well, although like another reviewer mentioned it won't work/negotiate at a lower 100mb speed. Using it in a trendnet 2.5gb switch.

Just plug and play
This works perfectly with my Zyxel XGS1210-12, connected via a CAT6 ethernet cable. Got my full 10 gigabit link as advertised.

Working on a Mellanox NIC
Confirmed compatibility with Mellanox ConnectX3 series 10Gb dual port card. Used in a custom PfSense firewall gateway. Only complaint I might have is that it's reporting a 10Gb link, even though it's connected to a 2Gb port on a cable modem. This is minor though, it is connected, and I'm getting close to 900Mb throughput from my broadband, compared to the 420Mb i used to max out. (this is mostly due to properly configuring stream limiters in pfSense, not necessarily this gbic)Firmware on this card had already been reverted to OEM from the Dell it started with, and downgraded a couple versions back for it to properly accept a 1GB module from ebay. So i can't say whether this module would have required this as well, but if you have difficulty with it in a Dell/HP version of a Mellanox card, this is likely what you'll also have to do--those versions of the firmware like to lockout the use of non-optical/3rd party modules.

Not stable with TP-Link TL-SG2210P - update
Got these based on the reviews on Amazon and title included wide compatibility which listed TP-Link. They were easy to fit into my TL-SG2210P and after a while (maybe 10 minutes which seems a long time) they were recognized. They initially worked well - one servicing a specific VLan and one servicing a trunk port. But after a few days they stopped working. Tried changing ethernet cables around, powering switch off and on. They would periodically start to work but it was too unreliable in this particular switch so I have removed them.Price was good. Delivery was good, initial working was good just not reliable in my set up unfortunately. Gave 3 stars since they sort of work so maybe in different switch they would be as good as the reviews suggest but for me they were a fail.UPDATE: after updating switch firmwares the adapters have been very stable and reliable and seem to work with this switch as originally expected. For this reason it was reasonable to change rating to 5
