Blue Buffalo seems to have great ingredients, my dog is healthy, happy and active, nearly 4 yrs, he still has the energy of a puppy. I've had several friends recommend it as well.

Dog Loves the Taste
I always buy Blue Buffalo chicken flavor but once in a while i get this flavor to blend in and my dog goes nuts for the flavor…..BB is always approved by my vet so it is a win-win.

Good novel protein with extra additives for joints and good health. Dogs like it too.
Vet recommended a novel food for our dogs. I had never heard of this before, but basically, its a food that isnt Beef, Chicken, or Salmon. Novel protiens are Duck, Venison, and Bison.Our dogs gobble it down twice each day. Their coats continue to shine, and we have no digestive issues.The only thing I wonder about is how its actually made. Ive heard that some of the kibble manufactures use very high heat during their cooking process, and that destroys some of the good benefits of the food. I cant say that Ive seen any difference over Merrick or the regular Life Pieces Blue Buffalo. Quality seems good, and you cant tell freshness with kibble, but the product looks OK out of the bag.The only thing I would like to see is a larger package offered. Thats why I gave it the 4 star rating (would have made it 4 1/2 if I could). Something along the line of 30+ pounds. And a larger quantity may make the price per pound less to the consumer. Mine lasts about 3 weeks, and that makes it difficult to do a monthly order for replenishment.

Best dog food!
Blue Buffalo is great dog food (IMO) but their wilderness line is our go to. The ingredients are solid, there is nothing that causes allergic reactions, which I totally appreciate bc our dog has allergies. He cant eat chicken or any chicken by-products. This kibble fits the need. He isnt a voracious eater so I just make sure he always has a scoop in his bowl. He like to snack in the middle of the night. A dog after my own heart!
