This works great for our guinea pig. It cleans up easily and has a nice, light scent to help with odor control. It retains moisture well, without becoming a sticky mess like other similar products.

The only bedding we use. Im a stickler for smells. The bedding itself doesn't have an odor and although it doesn't last a full week without needing to be changed, I do think it lasts a lot longer than others.It is very soft compared to any other brand/style I have found. When we had to take our guinea pig to the vet they were very happy to see how nice and soft his paws were. They said normally guinea pigs come in with callous' from their cages and bedding.

I’ve tried a few types of bedding, but this one is by far the best for my guinea pigs. It’s super soft, doesn’t have that weird chemical smell some brands have, and actually controls odor really well. I clean their cage every few days, and this bedding holds up without getting soggy or gross. Plus, my piggies seem way more comfortable and happy burrowing in it. Totally worth the price for the quality and peace of mind. Highly recommend for any guinea pig parent!

This is a dust free two weeks with no smell at all

I’ve been using the Kaytee Clean & Cozy Lavender bedding for my guinea pigs, and overall it’s a solid choice. It’s very soft and does a great job absorbing moisture, so their cage stays much drier and cleaner for longer compared to some cheaper brands I’ve tried. The light lavender scent is pleasant and not overpowering, which is important since strong fragrances can bother small animals. I also appreciate that it’s pretty much dust-free, which makes cleaning up a lot easier and keeps the air clearer for my pets.My only minor complaint is that the odor control could be slightly better; after a few days, I still need to spot clean or change it to keep everything fresh. But for the price and how much it expands, it’s a great value. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bedding if you’re looking for something comfortable, safe, and with a gentle scent for your small pets.
