Winsor & NewtonDrawing Ink, 30ml Bottle, Gold

This ink is absolutely amazing! It's the best and most beautiful gold pigment that I've found. It's got a bright yellow gold color and looks great after it has dried. The ink works splendidly with my calligraphy nibs, but not so well with my glass dip pen ( an easy fix, but worth noting).

This ink is great for that gold foil color, but some people may have a hard time with the pigment separating from the liquid shellac. I recommend buying two stainless steel bearings/balls (like the kinds they sometimes put in nail polish bottles). Size 6mm+ work great even for the 30ml bottle. Just toss them in and give them a shake

It's a beautiful gold glittery ink color. It shimmers on your paper. My only downside is that you have to constantly shake it because the gold settles on the bottom. I have to close the bottle and shake it every time I dip my brush otherwise it's too watery. The gold settles pretty fast.

wouldn't expect anything less than amazing quality from this brand. and this lives upto the reputation. lovely gold color and opacity. perfect for accents on art work.

We used this in a class setting and had excellent results. Students needed to be reminded that the metal would settle so stirring was necessary but the projects turned out great.
