IFB 28 L Convection Microwave Oven (28BC5, Black)

We wanted convection microwave. 21 inch would be smaller for us and 28 and above inch would be too large for Mumbai compact kitchens. Samsung is best for 21 and 28 inch, but they have nothing in mid range.. That's where IFB SC4 Convection fits in.. Really nice, works effectively.. no worries.. While ordering, Amazon app showed that no demo will be given, but to our surprise, we got a call from IFB and they arranged demo - was good and relevant.. Not to forget - product is costlier than Samsung 28 inch.. But since they don't have 25inch, IFB rules this segment and command premium pricing.. And IFB is an Indian company!

Excellent dual use oven product. You can use microwave as well as conventional oven at the flip of a switch. Very efficient and fast. Also this is almost Rs. 2,500/- cheaper than what the local dealer was offering and that too with buy-back of our old oven.We've been using this for a while now and its working perfectly. It solves most of our cooking problems in a single unit. From cooking rice to making cakes, this IFB has proved indispensable.I would recommend this to all budget conscious consumers who want a dependable multi-use microwave/convection oven. Nearly every city in India has a IFB service center so that is one less tension even though we have not had any reason to contact them after the initial visit when the helpful executives came to set up the unit and explain its various functions and limitations.

I bought IFB 25SC4 Convection oven on 17-10-2017. Within 4 or 6 years it malfunctioned and replaced magnetron etc by paying around Rs 5000/- Within one year after the repair, it again malfunctioned.Foolishly trusting IFB, I again purchased IFB 24PM2S microwave oven on 10-01-2024.After one year and three months of purchase the new IFB oven failed. The authorised people informed me that repair will cost around Rs 3300. This is the state of MY WORTHLESS IFB OVENS.I am to inform that never go for IFB OVENS.

IFB is the best company if you are looking for microwave and this is the best model ..."go for it"... You can also check google IFB is best but Before buying this microwave I read few reviews and everyone is complaining about installation and demo but I don't think you need any demo ...and installation is quite easy, you also get a manual book still Amazon provide you information if you need any demo. There is no problem with the packaging and it's working as I expected. I got this during sale in Jan 2018... Best price for this convection microwave...

The product delivery was good. The Amazon agent delivered the product in good condition. However, the price of the product was dropped by more than 10% on the next day after ordering. Secondly the product came with few utensils and being delivered along with a microwave, it is obvious to take them as compatible with the oven. However, on using one such utensil in the microwave, it started melting away immediately. Picture is attached for everyone's view. In a nutshell, the main product (microwave) is good but the accesories are useless and don't trust Amazon for the price.

I got this Oven purchased on Amazon portal on July 12th 2021. It was received in very good condition and seem to be a good product based on 2-3 usage I have from last ~3 weeks (though not frequent user of a oven).I purchased this with one of the criteria as dimensions which are mentioned in the picture as 19x11x16.2 (LxWxH) but the real dimensions are 19x16.2x11(LxWxH). It looks like the width and height are swapped. Luckily the space I had (especially width) reserved for oven was just sufficient to fit this device in, but I would request to keep the information accurate for the product information. (attached picture taken from the product info on this portal for quick reference)Also received few accessories along with the oven including powder coated pan. But I used this in just 2 usage for grill at 160 C and the coating got off. (attached picture). This is definitely not accepted quality.Overall looks to be good product (for the oven) but I see some room for improvement.
